How the Knicks built a culture of relentless rebounding and are using it to subdue another playoff foe

There are certain traits and game plans that don’t translate in the playoffs. For the Knicks, rebounding is an identity that has traveled well.

We all remember what happened a year ago in the opening round, when the Knicks punked the Cavaliers in the opening round while dominating the glass.

The numbers were ridiculous. The Knicks had 75 offensive rebounds in that gentleman’s sweep compared to 46 for the Cavaliers. I understand not all rebounds are created equally, but theoretically that’s 29 more possessions than the opponent over five games.

That will win series.
