Joakim Noah officiated Derrick Rose’s wedding in touching moment

Call it a Chicago reunion.

Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose reunited Thursday for Rose’s wedding, and just like during their respective NBA careers, Noah played an important supporting role — officiating the ceremony.

Rose married his longtime girlfriend Alaina Anderson in a small ceremony in Beverly Hills, NBC Sports Chicago reported.

Anderson commemorated the ceremony with a post on Instagram, which she captioned, “The Roses,” sharing photos with the couple’s family.

Per NBC Sports, some reports indicated that Rose and Anderson were previously married in 2018, so it is not entirely clear if the ceremony was a formal recognition of that day or a new legally binding ceremony.

Rose and Noah, who were teammates with the Bulls from 2008-16, have been each other’s wingmen at a wedding before.

For Noah’s wedding in July 2022, Rose served as the unofficial wedding photographer when Noah tied the knot with Lais Ribeiro in Brazil. Taj Gibson and Chandler Parsons also attended.

Rose proposed to Anderson in 2021 at center court in Madison Square Garden, showing off a massive square-cut diamond ring as he popped the question.

“MRS. ROSE MY FACE HURTS Just got engaged in MSG nothing major!” Anderson, a fitness and fashion entrepreneur, wrote in the caption of her Instagram post at the time.

Rose and Anderson have been together since at least 2016, and share two children together.

The veteran NBA guard wrote a heartfelt post to Anderson at the time of the proposal.

“I will always love you becuz you go above and beyond We built a beautiful family and a unbreakable bond,” Rose wrote, adding, “Thank you Queen.”

Rose signed a contract with the Memphis Grizzlies this offseason after spending two and a half years with the Knicks.
