Jalen Brunson victim of wallet prank by Team USA teammates

Jalen Brunson didn’t have to look far to find out who took his wallet in Las Vegas.

The Knicks star, who’s currently in Sin City with Team USA in preparation for the FIBA World Cup, was pranked by his teammates — Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton and Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram — when he left his wallet in the locker room following an exhibition game against Puerto Rico on Monday.

After Haliburton found Brunson’s wallet, he hit up a vending machine with Ingram to get some snacks on their teammate’s dime — and then trolled him on social media.

“JB left his wallet and we hit him,” Haliburton said while flashing a bag of Funyuns.

“What’d you get in the vending machine?” he asked Ingram, who was smiling while holding a red Gatorade, Ruffles potato chips and a cinnamon roll.

In the video — taken outside of T-Mobile Arena following Team USA’s victory over Puerto Rico — Haliburton opened the wallet, which included Brunson’s New Jersey driver’s license and a few credit cards.

Brunson reposted the video on Twitter and wasn’t impressed by his teammates’ sneaky business.

“Can’t even be good criminals smh,” he wrote.

The prank was all in fun and another bonding moment for Team USA, which will play Slovenia, Spain, Greece and Germany in the four remaining World Cup tune-up matches.

Brunson recorded a double-double — 11 points and 12 rebounds — in the 117-74 victory over Puerto Rico.

Haliburton finished with 12 assists while Ingram scored 11 points.

The 12-player team features NBA stars such as guards Mikal Bridges (Nets), Anthony Edwards (Timberwolves) and Austin Reaves (Lakers).

Bridges, who won two national championships with Brunson at Villanova, attended the Knicks star’s wedding on July 29, when he married his longtime girlfriend, Ali Marks, at Chicago’s Ritz-Carlton.

The United States will play Greece, Jordan and New Zealand in the first round of the group phase as part of Group C beginning Aug. 26.
