What do the Knicks need to add this offseason?

While the NBA season may be over, the transaction season is just heating up.

After reaching the second round of the playoffs for the first time in a decade, the Knicks appear to have the makings of a team that could be a contender with a few free-agent signings here and a few trades there.

With little cap space, the Knicks may have to take the long view at improving the team. But they do have the rights to 10 first-round picks over the next seven drafts and an intriguing core led by Jalen Brunson and…well, it’s hard to say, given that few players would be deemed untouchable for the right deal.

So, what do you hope this summer yields for Tom Thibodeau’s crew? Yes, there are pie-in-the-sky possibilities such as Damian Lillard or Paul George. But let’s also talk some realistic additions that might help the club move forward even if it doesn’t mean a title next June.
