Kenyon Martin rips Julius Randle for kissing wife Kendra after Knicks’ Game 5 win

Former NBA All-Star Kenyon Martin had a weird criticism of Julius Randle following the Knicks’ Game 5 win over the Heat.

No, it wasn’t knocking his 1-for-7 first quarter, which saw him get a mixed reaction upon returning to the court following a Knicks run in the second.

Nor was it about his inconsistent defensive effort throughout the series.

It wasn’t for his play at all, in fact.

Martin’s displeasure was due to Randle kissing his wife, Kendra, following the season-saving 112-103 victory, in which he finished with 24 points, five rebounds and five assists on 7-for-13 shooting following the slow start.

He kissed his wife, and K-Mart wasn’t here for it, which he outlined on ex-NBA star Gilbert Arenas’ show “Gil’s Arena.”

“It bothered me!” Martin said.

“We just got done playing a hard-fought game in a playoff series, and the first thing you do is you go kiss your wife!”

He added, “That’s the first thing you do?! Where’s your mind at?! I mean, it was the very first thing he did, dawg, when the game was over.”

Martin, who is once divorced, said he was watching the game with his wife when he saw Randle.

“I am sitting there watching the game with my wife,” he said. “I said to her, ‘I love you to death, but ain’t no way in that instant … I mean I am going to be with my guys because we just got done winning and I am not even thinking about you.’”

Randle and Kendra were married in 2016 after meeting at the University of Kentucky in 2013, and share two sons Kyden, 6 and Jayce, 1.
