MIAMI — The Knicks’ already-problematic bench may be without its top weapon Monday night.
After suffering a sprained left ankle in the Knicks’ ugly Game loss 3, Sixth Man of the Year runner-up Immanuel Quickley is listed as doubtful for a crucial Game 4 at Kaseya Center.
“ ‘Quick’ is day-to-day,” coach Tom Thibodeau said. “So we’ll see where he is [Monday].”
The sprain occurred when Quickley and the Heat’s Bam Adebayo were both going after a loose ball.
The Knicks’ guard got there first, and Adebayo fell onto his foot.
Quickley immediately went down and held his ankle, in obvious discomfort.
After the game, Quickley said he was in pain and was uncertain of his status moving forward.
If Quickley can’t play, that would likely mean Miles McBride entering the rotation.
Thibodeau didn’t rule out using one of his benched veterans, Derrick Rose or Evan Fournier, but didn’t offer much insight into how possible that is.
Both players have been sitting out for quite some time and would have a considerable amount of rust to shake off.
The duo have only appeared in mop-up duty in recent months.

“Everything’s on the table,” Thibodeau said. “We’ll see how it unfolds.”
The Knicks’ bench, one of their strengths during the regular season and the first round of the playoffs, has been outplayed by the Heat’s reserves.
Over the first three games, Miami’s second unit is outscoring the Knicks’ bench by an average of 10.7 points per game, and now Thiboddeau’s team may be without its top reserve.
The Knicks are fighting against history with the way the first three games of this series have gone. They are 0-7 after losing Game 1 at home and have dropped five straight Game 4 contests on the road. Their last win in this situation? Way back in 1995.
The Heat listed Jimmy Butler (right ankle) and Caleb Martin (back) as questionable.
Both are expected to play.
