This was the offseason we had to push all our chips in. I would’ve liked more than bridges tbh. Hell I wish we just drafted him over ****ing Knox (or maybe drafted SGA). All that said we could’ve done far, far worse and I’m happy to land someone of his caliber

I suppose the FO has reasoned that the Knicks will have a 5 year contention window after this trade, so all the traded picks, except the 2031 one, are going to be pretty low.

It feels a bit like Republican fiscal policy of kicking the gov't debt and deficit problem down the line, but short of a Giannis, this guy was probably the only player worth putting all our chips on the table.
