The latest I'm hearing on the Zach Randolph-to-Memphis talks is that the Grizzlies want a first-round pick from the Knicks. Getting a bit greedy, no? Donnie has countered by saying if he's giving up a first-rounder, he wants something more back with Darko Milicic and Marko Jaric.

if the grizz want a first round pick, I don't want this trade. unless we get Lowry or Crittenton and the pick is heavily protected.

This First Round Pick Demand once again comes from a blogger named Tommy Dee who apparently is the only one who gets info from a NBA Source who will only talk to Tommy Dee and the great inside information seems to once again be that the other team wanting Zach ALSO wants a 1st round draft pick.

When someone has their own direct inside information and has the same information and hasn't heard it all second hand from Tommy Dee - then I'd take notice.

Until then, it's literally a made up rumor on top of an rumor by a guy who really isn't proven as a journalist - at least in my opinion.

A league source has told RealGM contributor Tommy Dee that the Memphis Grizzlies are demanding a first round pick along with Zach Randolph in exchange for Darko Milicic and Marko Jaric.

Walsh in return is asking for a young player, assuming either Javaris Crittenton, Kyle Lowry or Hakim Warrick or the best expiring contract (Antoine Walker) if he is to surrender a first round pick.

I tend to avoid his blogs now because I just don't believe he's a credible source --- and is more just a blogger adding his opinion to try to drum up more interest in his blog than anything else. Nothing wrong with that but it's just not my cup of tea so to speak.
