BRIGGS - Chandler can play spot minutes at the 2 but he is simply not quick enough for the position. He is best suited for the 3 - if he learns he can be both aggressive and take jumpers - but he also excelled most at the 4 earlier in the year. He is simply not a starting 2-guard.

As to Wilcox - look at his box scores and tell me if you think he can step right into this faced paced team and play 35 minutes a game:

Note his physical appearance as well - he's not in great shape - he hasn't played frequently at all - and it will take some time to get there.


Same really goes for Hughes but being a guard it would likely take less time to get back into NBA game shape and be able to give us 30 minutes as the starting 2G.

Worse off with Hughes is the grossly inconsistent shooting - and at worst - the stretches of terrible shooting. Note mid-November for example.


So, while it's nice to acquire two players who might be solid rotation players for us it's not a no-brainer these guys are going to make a big difference. It remains to be seen.

Optimistically you'd expect both players to relish a rebirth and get their butts into gear and come in and play the team game and be in top shape. If they do we could be surprised.

Yet, they must do it first, we cannot just give them a pass on this season so far, and say they're going to be great. Just not realistic.

I have a Linksys WRT54G router, you might have a different one, but the gist of it should be the same.

When you sour on that POS router go get a USRobotics 5465

You can find it for 40 bucks. It has triple the range, much better security, much crisper/cleaner interference free signals, it's got a detachable antenna that you can upgrade from 2dbi to 5, 7, 9, 15, whatever you need.

I can't believe I held onto that POS Linksys for so long. The USR is outstanding. 12 feet away from the Linksys I got 36% signal. Barely 10% downstairs in the furthest corner of the house.

The USR? I'm at 100% throughout the house with a 15dbi antenna upgrade. I can go outside. I can go to the neighbors and use my laptop with an 80% signal. Not only that my upload speeds DOUBLED with it for both wired and wireless PCs. My download by almost double as well.

Couldn't be happier. It's outstanding. I've hooked one up for my sister/brother in law who had that same linksys (I had that thing too) and they can't believe the improvement.

Last week Dwyane Wade said it was possible that he could become teammates with LeBron James and he explained his thinking further on Tuesday.

"Is it a possibility me and LeBron will play together? It's always a possibility," Wade said after the Heat's practice Tuesday. "We're both free agents. Is it a possibility I'm going to New York? That's not a possibility in my mind."

Wade took exception on how the story was portrayed in the New York Post.

"Everybody puts their quotes where they want to put them [but], you know what you say," Wade said. "I understand how things get twisted. I just laugh at it and keep going."

What are you happy about? He can't say he's coming here while under contract. It's a nothing article. Besides:

INDIANAPOLIS - Dwyane Wade acknowledged last night "it's not crazy" to speculate that he and LeBron James could tag-team their way to the Big Apple as free agents in 2010.

Wade, following the Heat's loss to the Pacers, told The Post he and James could join forces in 2010, with the Knicks not out of the question. Wade indicated they have talked about the potential scenario, and both played for Mike D'Antoni last summer while winning a gold medal at the Olympics.

"It's not crazy," Wade told The Post in the visitor's locker room of Indiana's Conseco Fieldhouse. "It could happen. We both understand that. We both signed the same contract. We did it together. More than anything, it's fun to think about. It's exciting to know we both control our future. Will it happen? Who knows. He has some something he's trying to accomplish in Cleveland. So temper your enthusiasm hoping Walsh screws up so you can "I told you so I'm so smart!" an internet forum.

I also missed the part where it was already late summer 2010 and we struck out on any solid free agents. I also missed the part where ZachAss and Crawful were leading us to the promised land. We got rid of two idiots and gave ourselves flexibility for a very good free agent market year.

Can't quite see what there is to hate but I know you'll try because that is what you do. You might want to stick to RealGM where there are plenty of idiots who will agree with you and fall for your gimmick as opposed to a forum that has a large percentage of intelligent fans.
