Thanks bro. It's good to be back. The fact that the season blew up in our faces makes it easier to post and be honest without being called a hater since everyone is in agreement that the team is/was severely flawed

It will be interesting to see if the fourth year is a team option.

I hope we will be good enough to have the luxury of burying Smith deep on the bench if he goes back to the constant partying and the bad decision making on and off the floor. Hope Smith shows the Knicks that they made the right decision. Stay tuned I guess...

Hope is not a strategy. We just fudged our 2015 plan.......same old Knicks

Not quite everyone, half the board thinks it's Novak and Tyson's fault.

I respect fans who are both loyal and are not afraid to be honest about some of the questionable moves the knicks tend to make

draft pick - shmaft pick, we can give up draft picks to buy a subway sandwich and it would still be good value. Just ask Isia...I mean Grunwald.

I don't get the intense negativity. This team will actually be better than it was last year. All we can do is try to keep improving the team while keeping continuity. If we do re-sign JR, i'm guessing they'll add an opt out for 2015. Even if they don't that doesn't spell the end for the teams prospects for the future. I think there is WAY too much panic and exaggeration going on with the Knick fan base. This team should have a better mix of talent this year and should be better prepared for the playoffs. The talent in the East is getting better and I think the Knicks are doing the best they can to improve.

Its not my strategy, I have no say in the matter, so all I or anyone else can do is hope that it works out.

Maybe we will trade JR in 2-3yrs along with a 1st Rd and two 2nd Rd picks to clear the cap for 2015.

Knicks front office lacks a backbone. Too soft the way they cater to nobodies

to be fair we dont know if we will be better than last year. Last year a lot of things broke right for us. I mean we gotta figure the bulls and pacers will be better since they will have their top players back. the nets are also better next year at least

Looks like all acrobats and clowns will be back.
And we get a couple of new funny faces.
Should be a lot of fun next year. Can't wait...

What panic? Negativity yes, but I see no panic. If we felt the team had somewhere to go and these trades were killing us we would panic, as it is we will be 5th in the East and then get kicked out of the playoffs again. We needed disruptive change and we got incremental change. We gave up picks to get Camby. But Woody REFUSED to play him even when he was healthy - now we gave up picks to dump him and Novak. And you are surprised by the negativity? Seriously?

The Knicks organization is very determined and actually very successfull in making this team exiting show.
If somebody is indeed thinking that this team has a goal to win a Title or win in general he can panic and be negative all he want.
Because he will be right to be negative. If somebody is this guy he should go find another team to root for.
Show must go on!!!

um you cant compare ginobli and jr smith. Yes ginobly had a bad postseason but ginobli has a track record with the spurs and championships. I mean i understand there are some that refuse to criticize any Knick decision but at least state a factual argument

It can't be 4 years guaranteed. Can't be. There must be a team option or a buyout after the 2nd year. Otherwise, nothing makes any kind of ****ing sense. What the **** would be the point of trading picks unless it was to dump Novak's contract?

I agree. Smith's playoff performance was horrible but the guy had a great year. Check out what guys were saying when it looked like the Knicks wouldn't be able to afford him.

I dont think people mind having JR here next year. They just dont want to give him a 4 year deal which i agree with. also the playoffs are kind of important for a "win now" team so its not good enough that he had a good regular season and an awful playoffs
