But reality is Derrick Rose gave us an unsustainable short term pop. I believed it too as I drank the cool aid so not throwing anyone under the bridge. Fournier - bust
Rose— bust

Randle —for the most part bust

Genuine question (though it probably sounds like a criticism!)- why don't you keep your 180 degree turns to the previous threads you created, and explain why you've completely changed your mind- it would be much more interesting than randomly starting threads completely changing what you said with no bridge or acknowledgement whatsoever as to why you've completely changed your mind.

There's a lot of heat to replace Thibs and lots of noise about a young "core". I don't think Thibs is on his way out and I don't think we have a core at all.

We have a team of role players and Barrett. The age of the role players is irrelevant. I think the FO needs to [obviously] take advantage of the draft to the degree they can BUT, BUT they need to move bodies and assets to get NBA quality starters in here for Thibs to work with.

Until its not a Thibs team, its a Thibs team and mismatching him with a handful of average draft picks, Randle, and a bag of chips is a recipe for more failure, his firing, and another FO reset. Personally I'm sick of it.

As lousy as Thibs has been this year he earned a third season after making the playoffs last year. I have zero confidence in this franchise finding a better coach.

This summer it’s up to Rose/Perry to find a pg(really we need 2 point guards a starter and a backup) and lock up Mitch long term or at least use him as trade bait. Maybe we finally get lucky in the draft but I seriously doubt it
