Puts players on notice? Makes them realize that they have to play for their jobs if their jersey numbers aren't either 6 or 7?

this wont change a thing THIS yr. lol knicks are losing due to injuries and lack of talent. if changing the coach gives them a better chance of upgrading the talent then great. i doubt that.

instead if they can get a coach that free agents like, then maybe next summer it can upgrade the roster

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better
