Ideally, im fine with the idea of drafting Mudiay. However lets say the knicks trade their pick to the kings at #6. I wouldnt mind picking up this kid. Ive been following his career ever since he spurned Duke to play for his father at Detroit in the McDs game. nice athlete who has quietly improved. (These are one of those cheap (800k) young sleeper role players that i was talking about).

23 yr old 6-3 PG (about to be 24 in 8 days). pick him up with WCS or Winslow (depending on who Orlando takes).

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Been a fan of Ray's as well... Not worth trading down tho...he is probably just ahead of Galloway right now...

If we could get him in a separate deal though then that would work for me...

Always liked him, in fact, prior to the draft, I thought he was the better Mcllum than Portland's CJ Mcullum, both same draft class but one was piced as a TOP 10 pick and the other was 2nd rounder

Do you like him enough to consider giving him a poison pill is the question?

I would consider a poison pill for Mike Muscula, a Laundry Fields type of pill, IF THEY RESIGN both Millsap/Carroll and especially if they pay Antic decent money without trading other players like Teague with the development of Dennis Schroeedder

Cannot think of 2 WORTHY players that are worth considering using the poison pill on but Muscula is eligible as a 2year vet and a 2nd rounder (mid) I believe

NED, can you at least watch the videos i spent my time putting together because you asked, I know you do not believe in D League talents cause "they do not play DEF"

Those guys could shoot and I will highlight players that I always like in bold, though a lot of it depends on fit of the team, and how we fill out the roster as well
These are REALSITC targets that we would have leverage over, allowing us to go over the CREAM OF THE CROP in 2017
Also with 2nd rounders that can be stashed or used to own their rights...

I think Mudiay is a talent that we have to take our chances who has John Wall's potential prior to his development the past couple of seasons
He will take some time to develop, however, a PG with the ability to defend a couple of positions, push the tempo, with his ceiling compared to John Wall
Taking the best player available at number 4 and Justice Winslow is a very good player, however, like when we had Iman, we need TOP TIER players to fully utilize and fit his skill sets which we do not have
I would not be upset if we drafted Winslow, however, Mudiay has the chance to be the NEXT TOP TIER PG for many years to come

IMO, I believe
The Triangle is interchangeable
And Shaq was a DOMINANT CENTER that the Bulls never had and worked quite well for the system
There is no reason to believe that a TOP TIER PG can not fit in the system, if needed we tweak the system a bit just as it was tweaked on the Lakers
On top of that, I believe there a some G/F's in the D League that would fit his ability to penetrate/finish/facilitate

Some of these players below FineStrng and Briggs has brought up in the past

1- Jerrelle Benimon SF, SF/PF, strech 4, maybe a Lamor Odom type player as a triple double threat *a Robert Covington/Odom type of versatile talent at the SF/PF*

2- Jarell Eddie, G/F, a Danny Green type talent on shooting *more of a Eddie House but LEGIT SHOOTER and NOT A CHUCKER*

3- Scotty Hopson, G/F, another G/F that can shoot and score/penetrate/facilitate, decent versatile game as well *can SHOOT and facilitate/pentrate/ pretty well*

3 IMO, are must adds to our roster, to 2year deals and 3year deals with leverage with partial guarantee for year 1 and unguaranteed after
===================================================================================================================================================

1- Jerrelle Benimon SF, SF/PF, stretch 4
SF/PF, Stretch 4
6-9 250pds, Triple double threat

2- Jarell Eddie
6-7 220pds, 3pt sniper, G/F

3- Scotty Hopson, G/F, G
6-7 205pds, 3pt shooer that can also penetrate/facilitae G, G/F

There are plenty of other talents that we should look at as well such as

International older Center as a smaller Yao Ming that has said he wanted to goto the NBA recently but has a higher chance going to a team with no STATE TAX at a multiyear deal at 2-3m with about 20m-25m as a rotational Center
Boban Marjanovic

Thabeet - he is ready now, after a couple of years developing, it is time for him to possibly break out and be a solid rotation Center at the very least that could be a DPOY like a Roy Hibbert

Jared Cunningham *really has improved his shooting and has the ability to penetrate/finish like a poor mans Monta Ellis, once compared to Westbrook and was a mid lottery pick*

Nate Walters *depending on our roster as a shooter off the bench, basically only if we acquire talents like Giannes/Lebron/Durant/WHiteside etc, that would alllow him to have WIDE OPEN SHOTS and come off our bench, though Briggs liked him, I never saw him as a STARTER but in the right team, his ability shoot would be surely help*

There are many more other talents however, for us there are only so many young players we can acquire without even considering UNDRAFTED ROOKIES as well as 2nd rounder that we could likely acquire

Eddie Griffen/Khem Birch, as stetch 4's

CJ Fair *Josh Howard comparison*

Willie Reed *poor mans Greg Monroe*

some PG's like

Aaron Craft, Tim Frazier, Darrius Morris, Tourre Murry

There are a lot of possible 2nd rounders, undrafted players, and late 2nd rounders to acquire to stash and develop like we did with Thanasis
Speaking of which, if we can trade Calderon + our pick for Giannes and a trade exemption *other picks we acquire back*
CA isn't an easy player to build around and takes up a lot of the cap, a talents like Giannes's versatility and defensive abilities would fit and also have his brother Thanasis together, on top of trading Calderon
It is a no brainer if we can get rid of Calderon's contract, acquire Giannes, and their 1st round swap for our #4 pick

I would like to move up to acquire Bobby Portis and could sign Jermaine Oneil to develop him with the vet min, if needed, and guarantee that he will be our development coach for years to come in which he would mentor/develop Portis under his wings
I simply do not see us being able to sign TOP TIER FA's if other teams are willing to offer them similiar contracts, so we will have to find other creative ways of trying to build our roster
In fact, Phil Jackson probably should go to a team like, Lakers, Twolves, Philly, as they actually have the ability to improve much with FA/salary, many draft picks and future draft picks, and the players needed to execute his system
Though NO OTHER TEAM will pay him the money he got with Dolan

think Muddiay should be our pick because there are many G/F's that would fit his strenghts, while Winslow would be a very good player, TOP TIER PG's that could defend multiple positions do not grow on trees
I do not think Muddiay would be a Tyreke Evans type talent, he would be a better Shaun Livingston with also the potential to POST UP as well, he has LEGIT PG's skills and isn't the tweener that Tyreke Evans is
While there will always be many G/F"s available to acquire, just like at Wesley Johnson, Jae Crowder, Aminu, Iman Shumpert, and future undrafted talents, FA's, D League call ups, and International talents

I would not be upset if we did draft a smaller Jimmy Butler with a bit of James Harden in him, however, Winslow would need to play with a leader/defender like Lebron did with Iman with other versatile STAR's that we simply do not have

I guess it would depend on the work outs but if
Muddiay has the higher upside and we should take the best player available
As much of the league as STARTING PG's, we are on the teams that do not, also I would not mind if we traded Shved to a team like Clippers that clearly needs a LEGIT backup PG if we can acquire future assets in the process

In general, I wanted to list attainable talents that we can buy draft picks with late 2nd rounders *that we could hold on to rights like with THanasis or undrafted but signed if we have roster spots
As LATE 2nd rounders and that could be undrafted

there are many 2nd rounders to be stashed or signed, and/or undrafted FA's

1/2- Marcus Thortnon at G and David Laury at F that Briggs has brought up

3- Sam Thompson as a smaller Ariza comparison at G/F, always like Ariza and he is a bit smaller

4/5- Harrison Brothers with Aaron Harrison and Andrew Harrison

6- Quind Cook of Duke as a Norris Cole comparison type talent

7- Fuzzarro *as a early 2nd rounder/late 1st rounder*

8- Still like Jamalle Haggins who went MIA the past year I think, overseas, his game is comparable to a YOUNG KMART/Trevor Booker and was a very good rebounder/shot blocker in 4years at College
Orlando Sanchez, though I do not know his real "measurements" I think he could be a Jared Sullinger type of talent that is mature without the FAT and could play inside out
Chris Copeland, once a Knick, stabbed as a Knick, *then stabbed in NYC* hopefully gets another chance in the NBA and recovers

Briggs got me sold on Fuzarro but not Mickey, some of these players were first mentioned by Finestring and Briggs

9- Michael Qualls would be another talent that could be in the middle/late 2nd round to stash or develop right away, especially if we are able to draft Bobby Portis who I think can be a future ALL STAR if we spend the resources to develop him and get Jermaine Oneil and maybe KG to mentor him, his skills/physical abilities/style of play is very close to a young Jermaine Oneil IMO

Team mate of Bobby Portis who I think has is the safer pick between Kaminski/Portis while Portis has a bigger chance to becoming an ALL STAR and Kaminski could be a very good role player in this system

oh ive watched plenty of your videos. Im not saying theyre not talented. The only thing i said was i dont take their stats seriously because theres no defense. So therefore, in my opinion its hard for me personally to evaluate them. its hard for me to watch DLeague games due to the lack of defense - it just irritates me. IF theres talent there, I hope the knicks scouting org is as good as you in finding talent there

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Phil has a bunch of seasoned and decorated talent evaluators around him. He's not going to go into this without all the information he needs. Every scout will be bringing their prospects and evidence and will be expected to make their case for the players they're promoting to Phil. They'll all meet and layout the case for each player. In the end he'll have to come to the final decision on what they will do. He has the overarching plan in mind and apply all the information to that process of how they want to build the team and play ball.

if they trade up for mudiay, then im sure he (or collison) will be expendable
