2) SHAOLIN MARTIAL ARTS 1974:(Alexander Fu Sheng, Gordon Liu, Johnny Wang) (Chi Kuan Chun, Leung Kayan)

Good for fans of the great Alexander Fu sheng. Great to see Shaolin kung fu style whom has their finest killed by the evil Manchu rulers. Fu Sheng's competition is fierce and he has allies in Gordon Liu and Chi Kuan Chun to battle Manchu school who wrecks havoc on the village and schools thru murders.

However as good as Fu Sheng and Chi Kuan are they cant beat the 2-3 best of the Manchu school Leung Kayan (e.g movie Victim) and Johhny Wang (from movie twin dragons) both is that good and wont stop until all shaolin followers are eliminated.

Only issue is Fu Sheng and his partner Chi Kuan Chun need to learn the Tiger & Crane style kung fu as their only hope of preserving Shaolin believes & restoring their town.

If there is any 10 Shaw Brothers films you should own this is easily one of the top 100 Shaw Brothers are leaders historically in these Classic martials arts films.

This DVD isnt hard to find as once was, you can get it anywhere, Amazon and kungufvision.com

3) MASTER OF FLYING GUILLOTINE 1976:(aka 1 Armed Boxer 2,Jimmy Wang Yu,Kam Kong, Doris Lung, Lung Fei,Jack Lung,Philip Kwok)
The blind assassin is on the rampage to kill chinese rebels and avenge against 1 arm boxer(Wang Yu). Kam Kong and his guillotine aint no joke! as heads fly and bodies drop.

This blind man even shows up at a martial arts tornament to kill and make his point. The blind guy is Kam Kong.

It's on! as some other thugs stand in path also wanting piece of Mr Jimmy Wang Yu. Wang Yu has the charisma to pull it off while trying to keep his head! The blind assassin is one p_ss off one very bad dude! grin

This classic you need to add to your collection Dont miss it!

I see you are a Venom fan - nice choice! 5 Elements Ninja (Chinese Super Ninjar) is just new to Blu Ray, but the Media Blaster regular DVD is so fine I don't know how the quality can be improved. That is a bloody ass movie with lots of colors in it (Gold, wood, water, fire colors...etc)

Flag of Iron is great with 'Spearman' Lung Tien Sheng. I have them all - Hopuse of Traps is anotyher great Venom. Invincible Shaolin is my favorite Venom Movie & Phillip Kwock is may favorite actor of the group with either Chiang Sheng or Lu Feng nexct depending on my mood.
I have caught up on over 500 Shaw Brother movies I never saw in the last 167 monthe.I am making my way through the Gu Long adapytations now. Ti Lung is great in them.

....and Alexander Fu Sheng is the best actor!!!!Ever!!!!!

Yes, 'Black Belt Theater' at 3:00pm Saturday.....
I remember it well and recently have begun a mission to watch as many Shaw Brothers films as I can.Since October, 2010, I have seen at least 200+ films of all the greats: Fu Sheng, Ti Lung, David Chiang, Chi Kuan Chun, Chen Kuah Ti, The Venoms, all the actors that are in EVERY Shaw (Ku Feng, Ku Kuan Chung,...so many otherrs)........I've kept a list of each movie I watched since 10/20/2010 I started with 'Shaolin Templke' (1976) Ass soon as I saw that, Alexander Fu Sheng was my favorite actor ever, no doubt about it.

I have to post the ones I watched and see if anyone else has seen them and what they think of them.

they got the stars and the stories in addition to marvelous kungfu sequences
