... assuming only minor roster tweaks ... What will our record be in the final 27?

I'm guessing 16 and 11.

I think we can go 9-2 the next 11 games. Then we pay Milwalkee and hopefully pass them in the standings by then.

I am comfortable going forward with this team.

This is a team that can make some serious noise in the eastern conference playoffs. I dont think it is a championship team yet but it is definately moving in the right direction.

As for the last 27 I will say an even 10 losses the rest of the way. 17-10.

Hopefully we have one of those playoffs where someone on our bench just explodes out of nowhere..
Like Camby in 99 or Ginobli in '03.
It would give us a nice trading piece or just some unexpected talent on the rise in our roster. We're a solid team capable of keeping any team in the East on their heels. After we get more time to incorporate our new talent and jel this team could surprise...

I could see us going to the finals... Who knows.. Maybe one of the starters on the other team from the West could get hurt and we win it all ... Long shot.. but at least it's not entirely out of the realm of possobility.

Our schedule coming up seems pretty light compared to the Pre-All Star game schedule..
I could see us going 18-9 in the next 27...
I think we'll finish the season 44-38

Go Knicks!!!!

i think we will play well--all because of marbury. the addition of mohammed down low will help. but we aren't winning the title for sure. looks like pistons are team to beat in the east now

I was pretty confident we could come out of the east but now that Wallace is on the pistons, i don't know. We'll have to see how Wallace fits in.

Once things started turning around I was hoping NY would finish 45-37...I dunno if they can get that now but I think they could still pull 42 or 43 wins out. with this roster, going 16-11 or 17-10 should b about right.

One thing about Wallace is that I don't think he fits the Pistons style, it remains to be seen if he can make them better as a team. Detroit has been playing w/out a superstar player who demands at least 20 shots a game since they traded away Stack a few years back. There will be a significatn ajdustment period which might cause them to drop to 4 or 5 by the time the playoffs come around. Then we must hope they loose in the 1st or 2nd and we move on at least to the conferene finals, or 2nd if they loose in 1st so that Sheed still thinks we are the better team and sings with us in the summmer for the MLE.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

You mean how Wallace fits in with Wallace?

For now, it's B. Wallace and R. Wallace. With Rip, Chaunce and Prince - that's a seriously wicked 5. It's nice to see the East get better, even if the Knicks didn't make the deal.

I see Knicks going 17-10. Might get Doleac back. Hey, why not? He's solid in his role. Baker? 10-day maybe, but nothing committal, not past this season at least. He's damaged goods. But when he's good, he's the low-post we're missing this season. Still ... <twirls finger pointed at head, makes 'looney' face>.

Larry Brown is a great coach who along with R.Wallace is from univ North carolina they will get along well. Detrot just moved ahead in the east and will represent in June. I can't believe we won't get RASHEED WALLACE.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
