Based on what we've been hearing the past 12 hours with Knicks meeting JJ then possibly Amare right away, then LeBron soon after, it appears like something is starting to make sense. Knicks have a clear idea Bosh is headed to Miami with Wade, which is why meeting with both of them last is formality.
So the plan is, make max offer to JJ and lock him up right away. Have that lined up, whether straight up or for a potential S&T then pitch LeBron on the idea that they already have a star waiting for him to join forces. Chicago's status will still be unclear and Miami will already have something in place, so they Knicks will make a quick move.
In the meantime, they will work a S&T with ATL to try to force a Curry/Chandler package for JJ, take it or leave it. If it happens they either resign Lee or S&T him for someone like Parker.
It's time to make the first move and not spend a couple weeks in uncertainty. JJ is most likely to lock into a deal the quickest and although many of you may not agree that he's the right player, he's the first viable option that makes sense and dramatically improves the Knicks pitch to LeBron and whoever else. So they make offer to lebron and give him a chance to accept, and the backup plan is settle for Amare. It's not the ideal plan, but it's solid and will have a nice impact.
