Ny trades pick 8 3mm$ in cash Cutino Mobley and Wilson Chandler

for

Pick 5 Andray Blatche Mike James and Pick 5

Washington relieves itself of the cost of Mike James 's contract[via mobley] and instead of trading for Josh howard gets a 1mm dollar 7 year younger clone in Chandler[net savinsg + cash is over 10mm

We pick up pick 5 which basically assures us of either Curry Evans or Rubio

We pick up the 6-11 260 pound Blatche and move him to C in up tempo

eh...You want to give up pick #8, Chandler and Mobley's contract for Pick #5, Blatche and Mike James bloated contract? I think BRIGGS is reaching for his inner Zeke too much.

wilson, mobley's contract and #8 could probably get the Knicks a really really good player....you migh twant to look into that and come back here with a new idea Briggy baby.

I like Blatche too but not for this trade...Blatche needs to get in real shape and dedicate himself into becoming more than just a guy that can show signs...His game isn't professional, meaning he has to tighten the screws already. Kid has a chance to be apart of this next generation of stars.

Awful deal for the Knicks.

Chandler is a solid kid with major upside in a legit NBA body & Mobley's deal is another valuable piece.

You don't trade those to assets to move up 3 spots for a guy that may be in your lap anyway at #8 and the GREAT Andre Blatche.

How bout David Lee to Washington and take back Blatche and Mike James??? Even trade...Mike James comes off the books in time for 2010. Washington is looking to win now...
