It has been speculated that Rubio (once free from his Euro deal) could inform teams that he only wants to play in NYC.

If you assume this has some validity....(I do).

The teams picking ahead of us as of now.....are NOT very attractive destinations for a potential young international super-star.

We have....

Sac-Town
Wizards
Clips
Thunder
T-Wolves
Grizzlies
Warriors

If Rubio is adament about playing in NY (like Yi) --- I believe it could happen.

We have enough pieces and a high draft pick that something could get worked out.

Otherwise the picking team could be forced to use their pick on Ricky and he goes back to Spain for 3 more years -- returning at 21 or later.
