Excerpt from NY Post:
"If the Knicks can do a sign-and-trade with Boston, they can use part of their mid-level exception to add Suns center Steven Hunter, a young, athletic shotblocker who can be had for less than $3M per. Bartlestein (Walker's agent) also represents Hunter. Did someone say package deal?"
Wow, you know, I never realized it before. Antoine Walker, being the old, undersized PF he is, and Stephen Hunter, your everday athletic beast of an NBDL Center, would push us over the helm. Adding just those 2, no more no less, would put us in instant playoff contention, Larry Brown or not...
I have a feeling these rumors are semi-B.S., as they usually are, but if there's even an inkling of truth to them, I gotta question Isiah's motives and even more so, the direction he wants to take the Knicks in for the near future. This scares me in a way, b/c if I, your everday fan, can realize the direction this team NEEDS to go , and that's a LEGIT presence in the paint...something Stephen Hunter is def. NOT.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure.
And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.
