We can't make trades cuz teams don't want to make trades with us. That's it in a nut shell. It's not that we have an inability.

Yup...those picks in the 20's are much less painful to trade away and see another team use.

In recent years, when we give up a #1 it usually ends up being a very high pick, unfortunately.

plus we never lottery protect our picks we trade. I think we are the only team that works that way

3. I'd like to see Melo accept happily a deal to move on and contend while we collect assets in return.
4. that Briggs Valentine wish comes true.
5. Jrod wears his vintage Carolina Cougars warm up I get him for christmas.
6. Perhaps this year Raptors win the finals and DJ is happy.
7. See Phil fulfill his contract and stay on as "consultant" while he mediates in Malibu with his honey.

not sure i agree. Teams used to love trading with us, because we were the sucker time and again. Who would they fleece from us now, both in terms of our talent, and in Phil calling the shots and not past GMs

Yeah, I mean it's obviously Melo's fault, not that I don't give Melo plenty of props for his play this year. I just want him gone. It's what's best for all concerned.
