i still think this team will win about 35 games this year.

That sounds about right - hopefully less.

Gray skies are gonna clear up,
Put on a happy face;
Brush off the clouds and cheer up,
Put on a happy face.
Take off the gloomy mask of tragedy,
It's not your style;
You'll look so good that you'll be glad
Ya' decide to smile!
Pick out a pleasant outlook,
Stick out that noble chin;
Wipe off that "full of doubt" look,
Slap on a happy grin!
And spread sunshine all over the place,
Just put on a happy face!
Put on a happy face
Put on a happy face
And if you're feeling cross and bitterish
Don't sit and whine
Think of banana split and licorice
And you'll feel fine
I knew a girl so glooming
She'd never laugh or sing
She wouldn't listen to me
Now she's a mean old thing
So spread sunshine all over the place
Just put on a happy face
So, put on a happy face

Given that we have no center, no shot-blocking, no defensive stallworths, and at this point, no low post scorers, this team is about where you would expect given the injuries. We need a defensive center in the worst way and our young players need to continue to develop. In Duhon, Nate, Lee, Chandler, and Harrington you have some solid pieces at the 1,2, 3, and 4. But we need to upgrade the 5 spot and obtain a defensive PF. We could also use an upgrade at the 2 spot. Simply put, this is a 30-35 win team. So you cannot really be disappointed at this point. Walsh has alot more work to do.

I agree with mostly everything said here. They certainly need to develop Chandler (Good Upside- reminds me of a poor mans Richard Jefferson, less athletic better J... needs to improve his ball handling. There is a lot to like about him though); and Lee (Although, I think we'd be developing him for some other team, Lee probably will be dealt- and IT WILL BE A MISTAKE TO DO SO! Could stand to improve on his man on man D, and rotations on D... His J, well it needs to become more steady from 15ft). Harrington is actually a tougher read... he needs to refine his talents as he is a guy who can score at will. He just doesn't take great shots, going 1 on 3 ain't gon get it done! Nate... well he is a undersized 2 guard, that provides excitement.. you really wanna root for this kid. However again he is another player w/ a low b-ball IQ and is a proven liability on the defensive end. He is just too small.

I am one of the few that is not panicking. These are growing pains. We are growing as a team and learning from our mistakes. The crap that Isiah has given us will take more than 30+ games to fix. Coach Pringles team was playing well in the beginning prior to the trades. He needs practice time to get everyone in the mix.

He also needs more players. Playing a 6-7 man rotation right now is hitting the wall. I really hope we sign a guard and Ewing JR soon.

Two reasons: One due to injuries and the other, no back-up.

We rely basically on six players and nothing to surround them with.

Wow, imagine that. I wonder what we could do if we had the largest payroll in the NBA?

The good news is we can win three out of the next four games. So look forward to a 14-19 record in the next several days. The not so good news is we'll have only 7 more games to win the six needed to win 20 by the halfway point (to reach the 40 for the year). Hopefully they can beat some of the teams they should have beat in the first half of the season. It's a big plus, if we can.

This is making the core a lot tougher in this tough luck season. It will all pay off in a couple years I believe. Of course, unless something major changes again along the way.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Right. Don't panic like the guy in this thread did:
Disgrace!!!!!!!!!!

You don't have enough balls like I do to even respond to what I say. I am sick and tired of losing just like everyone else pal! And in my anger, I said what I said. If you want to hold me to it, then be my guest. I'm not holding my breath anymore for Bron. If he comes, he comes. Seems lately everything I say is defied by someone. Even Bron defied my hope of him showing up. We are basically a .500 team lifetime and isiah needs to die.
I'll never trust this' team again.

I just think it's funny that you were totally panicking a few days ago and everyone was trying to talk you down off the ledge, and now you're telling us all to stay calm. Pretty funny stuff. Are you doing it on purpose?

I WAS 'PISSED' AT THE OVERALL PICTURE!!! LOSING TO chicago (stinky onion) SET IT OFF, BECAUSE THAT WAS THE FINAL STRAW. It doesn't mean I don't care anymore. And when I said 'I'm done' it didn't mean I was out. You and G are trying to connect two dots here that barely have anything to do with each other. Don't you realize that we have been demoralized by chicago? I may be critical, but I am also fair. At least I' think so. We're a .500 lifetime team! Where's the outrage?

I'll fight anyone with my eyes diverted upward and two fingers off the keyboard. Go a head, try me.

Okay tough guy. Take it easy. The two dots were drawn by you. You are the connection.
