The article said Mills reached out to see where Vogel's head was at and to see if he had interest in the job. Thank God he apparently does.. Also said Mills told Vogel Phil hasn't made a decision on how to proceed. WTF is up with that last part? How do you not know how to proceed, Phil?? And how do you think that came across to Vogel? He's away at his Montana lake house to think things over?? Gimme a break. Tells me there may be something to the rumor that Phil and Dolan may be far apart on a coach... Someone needs to be aggressive with Vogel or Blatt before we lose both of them.. Thank God for Mills is right. I appreciate any interest and patience both guys have shown. I tell you what -- I wouldn't have any patience with Phil and this whole friggin' circus, I can tell you that.

This is why I'm looking for a little more than adding 1-yr Band-Aid type players. I'm not interested in giving Mike Conley Jr. the max--NO WAY--this is not the summer to hand out a max contract or even a near max contract.. I would like to see us add a few pieces that will actually be here for awhile though. Players who fit and could grow into something. Players we don't have to blow our entire financial load to get... They're out there--is Phil looking for them? Who the hell knows. I can picture him swinging from a tire on a rope jumping into a lake buck naked right now...Bottom line--Phil Jackson is completely uninspiring as far as I'm concerned. How can this dude possibly inspire going about his business the way he does?? Comes across like the novice, unsure of himself exec he truly is. That's not what we need, man. We need someone fully engaged right now...Can't wait to see what this weird, unorthodox dude comes up with, regarding coach and players.
