Knicks star Amar’e Stoudemire is touting the crazed manifesto of ex-cop-turned-cop-killer Christopher Dorner as “a must read.”

The hoopster took to Twitter Sunday to reveal his interest was piqued by the 20-page rant Dorner left on his Facebook page, in which he declared war on the Los Angeles Police Department.

“Interesting. This is a must read!!” Stoudemire tweeted and linked to the manifesto Dorner addressed “to America.”

In his deranged decree, Dorner railed against corruption in the LAPD and portrayed himself as a victim of institutional racism, fired for crossing the thin blue line to report a sergeant for brutality.

LAPD officials found Dorner’s charges against the sergeant were bogus, but the case was reopened during the hunt for Dorner.

Stoudemire did not elaborate on his tweet. But many of the hoopster’s nearly 806,000 Twitter followers were taken aback by his reading recommendation.

“Really?! A murderer’s hateful manifesto is worth reading?” wrote one follower.
Dorner shot himself to death Tuesday in a burning mountain cabin near Big Bear, Calif., after cops tracked him down and surrounded the hideout.

During his 10-day Southern California reign of terror, Dorner killed two police officers and the daughter and future son-in-law of a former LIN BADAPD captain.

As the tweet flap bubbled, an online shoot-’em-up video game surfaced Sunday putting gamers in the cop-killer’s shoes.

The game — “Chris Dorner’s Last Stand: A True American Hero” — was posted on the controversy-courting online community called 4chan.

The amateurish game re-creates and exaggerates Dorner’s final hours in a shootout with police and is reminiscent of the popular 1990s computer game “Doom.” The objective is to kill as many cops as possible.

In “Last Stand,” Dorner’s cabin hideout is decorated with a picture of actor Charlie Sheen, who in real life made a video asking Dorner to surrender.

Ex-California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger also appears as a “Terminator”-type enemy.

During the virtual gun battles, gamers replenish Dorner’s health by eating fried chicken — a shamelessly racist feature. All the cops in the game are white.

No offense, but what makes you so qualified to assess someone's intelligence? Clearly you're basing that statement on a stereotype and his interviews regarding basketball and not actually knowing the guy.
I personally know plenty of idiots who have multiple college degrees too.

No, it's not. Amar'e is an exceptional basketball player; doesn't make him qualified to make intelligent suggestions on reading material. No one should think it does. I like watching excellent athletes play basketball, but Tyson Chandler does not make me want to wear capri pants, Carmelo does not make me want to wear Jordan brand, Jason Kidd does not give me examples of how to treat my wife, JR Smith does not teach me how to drive.

The question is how do you KNOW that he is not qualified? You don't know him personally.
There are 5000 janitors with PhDs in this country. Would their opinion only count if it were based on their professional knowledge of cleaning products?. Your point is simply invalid.

I never said his suggestion was intelligent.
I don't feel compelled to read the manifesto at this moment.
You assumed that.

YOU were the one who suggested he wasn't intelligent because he's only got a high school education and says phenomenal a lot. I was pointing out the fact that you have no way of assessing that information. You're just assuming as much based on an athlete stereotype. That's what I took issue with.

I have as many of you all have following the Christoper Dorner case or is it propaganda?

To this date no one has offered ANY tangible proof he did anything.

The supposed manifesto that has been offered as proof was on a facebook page created a mere week or so before this whole case started.

Yet his facebook page with MANY friends has no manifesto? why?

The people he was accused of killing, where is the proof he killed them?

Was there a trial I missed?

The media has been spinning this since it broke, why?

Why the huge reward?

Why were police shooting at suspects first , then identifying? Shooting several innocents!

The media has condemned him without any PROOF of crime committed, where is it?

I was watching, I never SAW Dorner at any time, doing any of these things that supposed to had happen(Police car video), never even saw a glimpse of him IN that cabin, and etc.

Same with the Sandy Hook thing. Never saw the dude going into the school, or his body even from a distance.

It's really as if we who are watching are supposed to believe what is being reported as being what happened. And the Main Stream Media, police, and whoever else seem astonished that we don't accept what they say at face value.

They are the idiots, not we who question their unbelievable SCRIPTS.
