Maybe Im just a little a annoyed because Im reading UK after coming back from the bar at 5am. But Im readong Berman and hes pissing me off! I saw a game yesterday that was really entertaini ng, that featured the future of this franchise running wild and doing good. And now I have to read about this BUM Marbury and how its some controversy...

NOONE CARES!!!!!

Marbury is a bum! Currry is a bum! We dont need them and we dont want them! I dont care what Dantoni said about that retard, all the media trying to make something out of nothing. Its time for a change, for a new era, and we have the same old tired reporters trying to mkae a headline. FUCK THAT. Ltes go Knicks babaey!

just read newsday, ny times and the occasional piece on espn.
ny post and daily news are usually just stirring up bs to catch some readers.

Yes, if you hate berman, just stop reading his stuff. You know he is going to defend Marbs no matter what the situation, so why bother. I'm actually more upset with the fans chanting "we want Steph". These same fans that have lived through all the losing. These same fans that have seen Steph lead us to nothing. Are undermining the coach of their team in the first game of the season. There are still fans that haven't had enough.

I posted this in the other thread, but it probably is better off here.

I blame the media. Part of the problem is that with so much media coverage, there is a need to have "news" every day, multiple times per day. So whether the story is the fans cheering for Marbury, Marbury asking reporters to move, Crawford watching (or not watching) reporters move, D'antoni not happy with the fans trying to coach the game, D'antoni cursing at the calls in the game...whatever it is, it becomes more than what it ever was once the media gets a hold of it. AND, if the players or coaches don't want to talk about it, they get slammed.

The major papers need some fresh new thoughts on the team. I am tired of the bull$#1+ from Berman, Isola and the rest of the gang. I find myself looking at the blogs more often now because there, you have fans reporting on what they see (maybe with a pro-knick bias, but I have a pro-knick bias, so it works for me).

do what i did about 1.5 years ago - stop reading them. don't read anything in the news, post, times, etc. they don't offer anything that you can't figure out on your own.

exactly....

if you watch games you know whats happening.....Berman is making **** up to stir trouble. He needs to be banned from covering the Knicks.....yo is that possible to ban a newspaper from covering a team? I'm saying cuz he can post on a board liek this and make this stuff up as he goes along like Briggs, lol

ahh, the media is just doing their job, which is to stir up some ish. I don't think Marbury is going to be a distraction because this is a contract year for him. The guy is actually smarter than he looks, he needs to be on the up. Whether they buy him our or he gets traded, he needs to be able to sign with another team. Playing it mellow will get him more dollars and maybe onto a champion team (if he can fool one to sign him) I think this will be old news soon enough, the knicks can quickly sweep this under the rug if they can swing together a string of wins.

Yeah no reason to call out Dantoni for absolutely nothing---thats not how you sell papers--it should be how MSG bans the writers

I fully support MSG banning Berman and anyone else associated with this junk. Get his fat arse out of there if he has to be an arsehole. I think this team needs a fresh start including some very negatively biased reporters. As an owner--there has to be some leeway but for this first time in 7 years we won a nice game to start the season with new leadership and they pull this sht--I would ban their arses

Crap that not even them may believe. Do we forget that last season Marbury was the enemy because of his AWOL episode and the benching and the crazy comments he said? Now he is the saint.

Welcome to New York guys...If not Berman it would have been someone else...And yes, fans want to see a star on the court...Funny that MDA doesn't quite understand the New York media circuit yet...This isn't PHX, this is New York, media capitol of the planet...MDA started off the preseason by saying Craw and Nate ran the offense better than Marbury...He needs to know everything he does or say here will be analyzed...And this is only game one...

I think he knows, he just doesn't care.....I think we are done as an organization worrying about every players "feelings". There is a reason why only few players make it in NY. We are going to get back to that.

it ticks me off to have to read about Marbury this & Marbury that after every game too... i wanna be able to read a Knicks story about guys who are trying to turn this thing around & get this franchise back to respectability, not another circus sideshow centering around a guy w/a -3 on his bald head.
