I was surprised too, but check out the latest podcast at DraftExpress.com, #12 at about 3/4 the way through (best draft site imo):
http://www.draftexpress.com/article/DraftExpress-Podcast-12-2910/

Also, check out Gordon's measurements, sick wingspan and vertical:
http://http://www.draftexpress.com/article/Entire-NBA-Pre-Draft-Camp-Measurements,-Combine-Results-Released-2911/
I'm starting to warm up to this guy as a big-time 2-guard. I'd rather go him than reach for Augustine. I can't wait to hear the report from Mayo and Westbrook's workout. I hope Westbrook blows us away.

Draft wish list is currently as follows:
1. Anthony Randolph
2. Russell Westbrook
3. Eric Gordon
4. DeAndre Jordan
5. Danilo Gallinari

Check out the right hand column that has the draft profiles. 45 year old Patrick Ewing is in there.

DX is th eworst draft site in my opinion... they stic to their guns too often. I hate the comparisons made and the datedness of the nbadraft.net profiles, but they tend to swallow their pride and get the draft order right.

Anyway, if the Knicks prefer Gordon to Mayo I don't even know where to begin with my bitching. The Knicks do not need another combo-guard chucker.

Combo-guard chucker? His measurements are exactly like Dwayne Wade's.
Hmmm...

What if he isn't?

The kid is testing out well so far yet people don't want to give him the benefit of the doubt of being a good lottery selection.

Feel free to make the Dwayne Wade comparisons... Gordon didn't exactly have the tournament Wade had for Marquette. But let's assume for a second that he is the next Wade because he measures out the same. Are we convinced that little tiny Wade is going to bounce back from injury to be the same player?

He had a stretch of great games this season. Then teams gameplanned against him and he ceased to be amazing. I could care less how players test out unless they are being drafted at the very end of the first round or the second round.

He had a gimp wrist and their club had a coach scandal I'm sure that had some factor in his play.

Maybe, maybe not. All I know is that he started chucking from three at the end of the season. IF you want to say his wrist factored into play, fine. But then you would also have to factor in him being a moron for quitting to play and chucking threes with that bum wrist.

That's why I don't like to read the site. They always have countless errors......listing Daddy Ewings Height, weight and position is terrible.....did you see all the spelling and grammar errors too? It's like I was post it.

You really got to be kidding here. Broken wrist and you say he quit playing. Look at his play before the injury, he was clearly the #1 SG. Look at what happens to shooters after wrist injuries, it takes time to heal and get the stroke back. Sorry but he really does get a free pass with the shooting after the injury. Also, he wasn't the #1 SG coming out of high school in the ENTIRE NATION for no reason.

they have a player file for Ewing Jr, but they listed the wrong profile in that link. i think DX is a good site, but they do have a weird take on the lotto every year and seem to stick to their own rankings rather than really projecting who teams will take.

There were errors because if you listen to the Podcast Givony he said their day starts at 6:00a.m. and ends at 9:00p.m. and when they get home they start writing. So to start your journals at like 10:00p.m. after being up that long is not a good thing to do.

Well, seeing as how I said "he ceased to be amazing" I gave him some credit. Anyway, I don't see how people think Mayo will be worse than Gordon. And to throw your own argument in your face, coming into this season Mayo was touted as one of two possible players to be taken first overall (along with Rose), which means people thought he'd be the better player.

Who said this? Most would want Mayo at this point if we can get him but realistically looking at the draft and where we're picking you have to assume the talent available. Gordon would be a great pick at number 6 heck he was my #2 pick in March.

yea, people are just not high on him, as I wasn't earlier in this year, I wanted rose or mayo, but you can't deny that gordon may be a worthy top 6 pick. He has a boat load of skills and an NBA ready body.. If not for the NCAA tourney would Dwayne Wade had gone as high in the draft? I mean he still would have been the same player most likely..... A friend of mine, from NY who now lives here in Georgia swears by Eric gordon, he says he has this quality about him that is just nasty on the court.. My friend usually is good about reading guys like this. BTW he doesn't like mayo and thinks rose is way overrated, but again, he has only been right about 18 out of 20 times this year on games, players, boxings matches, etc.. LOL..... go figure. right...?

All we know is how the 'draft experts' rank them. We don't know how nba front offices rank them.

Everyone saying EG is shorter than expected. No way Westbrook can play the two at 6-2. EG is a better athlete taller, longer wingspan and stronger. Shoots the ball better.
