And vote. No ifs and buts, just time to take a side. Forget money, forget trade value, forget insurance policies, forget bladders, forget being a "seasonist", and forget history. No "Star" and no "Next Town". Just 2007 season. Going forward you have one choice:
Larry Brown
Stephone Marbury

I voted for LB. If LB retired and Steph was here I would not stab myself. If LB were fired adn Steph was here my throat would be slit.
I just hope that people will like me

If it took LB retiring to have the whole team traded, I would do it.

I'll take Larry Brown every day of the week. Brown knows how to build a team, he knows what types of players combine to make a winning team and the guy has done it time and time again. Larry Brown everyday of the week over Stephon Marbury who has done nothing except whine and be a perennial loser his whole career.

This is from 5/6 yrs ago and may have been posted on these boards before, but an interesting take on LB's struggles with Iverson in comparison with Riley, Jackson, even Vince Lombardi. Not saying Stephon is as good as AI or the other superstars mentioned, but otherwise lots of parallels with the present.

With nyk4ever. Will take Larry Brown until the sun stops shining. Marbury is a loser, period.
The new new core: Randle, RJ, IQ. Maybe Mitch. Future pick. Future trade. Future FA.

I was with Steph as long as he was trying to play LB's way. I held out hope he would totally buy in at some point this season. But now Steph is gone. The diva known as Starbury is all that is left. Get rid of him.

Marbury, because of his attitude, is less valuable than Howard Eisley

Howard Eisley is a solid role player. Stephon Marbury is a primadonna.

Please don't insult Eisley by mentioning him in the same breath as Marbles.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Well, I would rather go forward with Larry Brown instead of Marbury.

Marbury is cool and all, but I like Shelly Brown more

I voted Brown over Marbury. I want Marbury and Francis gone. though, I don't have much faith in Brown after his illness thing. I don't think he's here for the long haul.

hey, here's one for the record books - in 1994, Don Nelson and Chris Webber were feuding over Webber's role in the offense, etc. Don went to the owner and said him or me after a media battle or two with Cwebb. GSW chose Nellie over CWebb. Nellie left a season or two later, Spree choked his replacement and they haven't made the playoffs since. Webber made the playoffs about six times during that stretch.

i don't know that that's totally pertinent to our current situation, but maybe the message is: players win games, players determine the value of your franchise. there's no such thing as a franchise coach, especially when his nickname is Next Town.

Your vote was not necessary to accomplish such a feat.

Its not that you irritate as much as your irrelevant.

No, you voted Marbury out of a sexual infatuation. Manup.
