Briggs, brings up a great point about the Knicks not getting due diligence on Bynum eariler this month. But with new devlopments, and the Knicks ironically getting due diligence on Gerald Green because he finds himself maybe falling. If both these guys are on the board when the Knicks select and Frye is gone (if you believe the Jazz or Raptor rumors), who should the Knicks take?
Andrew Bynum
Gerald Green

How could you pass on Green? You could trade for a pick in the teens and probably take Bynum there...

I think I've been Green's #1 supporter from day 1, because he is going to be the star player we so desperately need.

However, even I have to go with Bynum because the payoff of having a 7-1 280 skilled bigman who might become an allstar calibur player at the C position and potentially average 15-18pts & 10rebs, when less than a handful of centers in this league put up those kind of numbers makes him the perfect pick at 8. Remember the lottery is about drafting potential stars not serviceable players. Thats what picks 20-60 are for!
