He had the potential to jump into the lottery next year/or year after and showed some nice signs towards the end of the year. he did battle Dwight howard very well in their H-H on TV

I cant find spots for Petro or Blatche, Im probably wrong but I think Pheonix was hot for Martynas 2 years ago in the lottery and now they have pick 21--petro could go there, but after that you have guys on the board that are flat out better players than both of them. Both have slipped pretty hard on the mocks, I have read they both havent done well in workouts, and it would be wise for us to take a pivot with some beef to him blatche is no C, and Petro doesnt have the skills of Morris, although he can move up and down better.

I have us taking a PG at 50 something, but that is a sore spot for us as well, a back up PG.

I think it'll be Morris, Blatche, Turiaf or possibly Matt Walsh. But yeah, Morris is looking somewhat reasonable. He could develop into a better version of Nazr, so that would validate the Nazr trade right there...

BRIGGS, I thought you didn't like Morris? Anyway I've been advocating this guy for a while now. He was only a freshman last year...lots of a room to grow and a good deal of upside here. Framewise he reminds me of Magloire, game wise might be closer to Nazr, but I think his upside is greater.

Not in love with him, but what are we going to do at 30? what if Frye busts or gets hurt?

Briggs....the Center spot will not be solved Tuesday night. We'll throw a MLE at James or Hunter or some other young vet.

I know nyk4ever and me have been on this guy for a while now. A 19yr old 6-11 266 beast playing starting Center for a program that has produced a ton of serviceable bigman including Magloire and Nazr...sounds good to me!

Bynum & Morris

or

Green, Granger, Graham, Taft & Morris!

I'm very interested in Morris at 30. Occasionally you read a disastrous report on him but it's hard to know which ones to take totally to heart.
