Regardless, I think edsonline nailed it right on the head that we NEED a very tough, defensive minded 3 to complement Marbury, Q, Crawford. I really like Craw off the bench as a 6th man.

If Frye is on the board we'll probably select him. Regardless of whether that is a good or bad thing that is pretty much a reality. Therefore, if he gone before 8, my draft board looks like this because Granger and Graham give us that long, tough, defensive 3 that would fit so pefectly next to Marbury and Q.

1. Bynum
2. Granger
3. Graham

If not, I want Ariza or Malick Rose starting at 3. If we start TT we wont win games. We can't put a team out there like lat year that was just so dreadful defensively.

If we could make the Boozer deal, sign Hunter to the full MLE, draft Bynum/Frye we'll be greatly improved. Boozer and Hunter give us some interior defense that we haven't had since Camby.

Marbury, Q, Ariza, Boozer, Hunter
with Craw, Rose, Sweetney, Frye/Bynum

That is a young team that addressed some important issues (Size, shot blocking, post defense, defense at the 3)

I couldn't agree more with this. Let's say Isiah has seen Bynum enough to know NOT to pick him. I would want Granger/Graham before a big like Frye. Gotta start with perimeter D, and Granger/Graham with Q would be perfect.

i really do like the idea of starting marbs Q and ariza, any of the three can sub out and crawford can step in. ariza's current offensive deficiencies will be fine when we have marbury and craw penetrating and Q spreading the floor, he could really clean up. JYD can fill that role too. looking forward to it...

Not terrible. But with the #30, I'd be extremely disppointed with R Morris. He's an awful prospect in my opinion. I think he's slow, lazy & a weight problem waiting to happen.

exactly, Artest is one bonehead move away from being exiled from the NBA, I don't trust him.. anyway Randolph morris I think pulled out of the draft, so we can't take him at 30.

I still think they timmy will be our CENTER (tall post up presence, and be on the floor with Ariza/Crawford, Q and Marbs.

Then rotating one of our 2o PF's until Bynum/Frye become starter ready.

In the meantime, heaven forbid this Gasol possibility is eactly that, a possibility...getting him would turn us into a playoff team:
marbs, Q, Ariza, TT, Gasol.

At the trading deadline, unfortunately, it appears we will have to lose TT to make us contenders.

Marbs, Q, Ariza, Gasol, Frye/Bynum...sweets and craw coming off the bench.

But, reading more of bynum (finally) he appears to be equivalent to Frye in different ways...if either of them put in the same type of numbers as Nazr and can alter shots we are in more than good shap...

Provided we get Q.

You're born with balls. TT has been in the league for 40 years. If he didn't grow any at this point, you really think he will? I doubt it. No way should he be in our long term plans.

How can someone TT's size not be tough? It's mindboggling.
