This guy's name is popping up on the scene now because he surprisingly kept his name in the draft. People are speculating he may have a first round promise because of that. Either way this is probably a prospect that will be available at 30 and seems to have good upside. 7-1 230...NBAdraft.net compares him favorably to Nenad Krstic. From what I can gather, he seems to have a good understanding of what to do with the post, is not afraid of contact, and shows the length and ability to be a shotblocker. The key word with him seems to be patience. This guy might be worth keeping in Europe or in the NBDL for at least 2 years before he gets NBA action.

I saw his name too. That would be an interesting pick. I wouldn't be mad at that.

No, Ive been reseraching him, he sounds like a better long term prospect than Vazquez.

He has a real shot at being pick 30

I think Morris can be somwhere between a Nazr Mohammed/Jamaal Magloire in this league....not bad at all for 30. I really like Turiaf a ton...Etan Thomas, Brian Grant, Oakley....whoever you want to compare him to, this is a rugged frontline player who will play the C for you in a pinch, give it all he's got and play with a mean streak.

This guy and Martynas are the great unknowns. This guy is a little older and a little stronger, probably more advanced but has less upside.

These are all just names to throw out. The 30th pick presents a lot of intersting possibilities this year, and there might legitimately be some decent bigman prospects available.
