Does anybody want this guy? All I read is very lukewarm reviews of this guy.

Not really. He doesnt have a great frame. He's a Camby type player, but without the raw athleticism that separated Camby. He did reasonably well at a high level of competition, but he seems to me to be a high energy role player like Anderson Varejao of the Cavs. The higher upside guy was Splitter, but he pulled out.

He's supposedly the most NBA ready Euro since Gasol. At 6-10/6-11 230, is even more of a lightweight than Frye. Don't know much about his game. He's been projected high lottery for months (to Utah) but apparently slipping.

If the Knicks are definitley not taking Bynum or a wing, would anyone here prefer Vazquez to Frye?

No way I would take Fran Vasquez over Frye. Fran actually reminds me of Kurt: hard-nosed, tough defender, but not athletic enough to dominate. Splitter was abusing him in the ACB semi-finals, and Splitter had to pull out of the draft. No thanks to Fran.
