He comes from scouts not thinking he should be in the draft, to late 1st round, to maybe lottery, to mid lottery, and now top 3. This is probably the best and fastest rise in draft history.

That says a lot too. He must really be something special.

Thats strange because on the Knicks site they have Bynum ranked higher than Vazquez...

the Knicks will NEVEr take Bynum because they conceive he cant play right now.

Knicks' trades lately haven't been exactly those with a win-now mentality. Actually, the team Isiah is trying to build could make the playoffs in the East with the right coach and a couple of big bodies, but the team he is building is concentrated on winning the championship in many years from now. Thats why I don't believe he is going to pick because the player will help us now and thats it. If Isiah ends up taking Frye its because he sees he will be a very good player in something like 3-5 years. Thats he will help now, sure, but Isiah isn't going to pick because the guy is a sure thing now. He will pick because of potential too.

And one thing, Isiah has stated that sometimes he lies and sometimes not, that its all part of his strategie. I wouldn't be so sure about him promising Frye anything, and if he did and had a chance to get a better player, don't expect him to just make the choice because he made the promise.
