I don't know who this Briggs is, but I'm grateful that there's someone else out there that recognizes his talent. I watched him at the HS All-Star Games and was wowed with his upside. I then hoped he would declare for the draft and when he did I thought it was a miracle. Ever since, every freaking day I've googled for ANY information potentially tying Bynum to the Knicks and only prayed that he would have a private workout with us so that Isiah could see him up close. The thought was that he'd be so impressed with him that he'd give him a promise to take him at 8 and keep him in the draft. Well, it looks like this dream will not come to fruition, as another organization (Lakers?) have taken that route already. It's sad, really. We are going to take a low-upside solid player at best in Frye...yeah, those are the types you need to win championships...NOT!

We need to take someone with a chance to be a STUD. An ALL-STAR, a FIRST-TEAM ALL PRO. We missed on Amare, let's not miss on Bynum.

I can only pray at this point(shrugs)...

And honestly, if we don't get Bynum...I would want Chris Taft. He has the potential to be the 2nd best big man in this draft. You'll all see down the line. Bogut will be a very good, solid center, but both Bynum and Taft could be even better.

Especially now with the NBDL where you can send players to it, why not take Bynum. He makes the most sense of anyone.

Have some stones and roll the dice with him.

this is stupid. i had o real idea that bynum would enter the draft and i had ZERO idea Bynum would be the player he is RIGHT NOW until he lost his weight. Now I had some pereceptions, but those were not realities. Anyone who had the pereception fo him being pick 8 FOR SURE after the MCD game is a hallucinator. Go back and read some of my posts, I liked Bynum, but I wanted to see what he looked like AFTER he recovered from injury. He is MUCH better tha anyone here knows or would understand, Isiah Thomas has never seen the kid in shape or has 99% of the Knicks brass other than the 1 scout they sent over to Baruoch. Have I PERSONALLY seen Bynum play in the last month, YES I have, but that has to do with my involvement in another site. I wouldnt have been this boisterous without SEEING with my own two eyes.
To me there are 3 prospects in this draft
that interest me at the top
Bogut
Bynum
Granger in that order
yes I would take Bynum OR Granger over anyone not named Bynum or Bogut, INCLUDING M Williams D Williams, C Paul, French Frye Graham etc.... I dont give a F what mock drafts say, I say with my own two eyes.

Are we going to fck up in this draft? Well, I hope not, there is the ability to get 2 of these guys.

bye

My godness, the Bynum Saga continues! One thing for sure, if the Knicks do pick Bynum, Im afraid the Knicks won't matter that much so we talk about them. The tittles of all game threads will be All Bynum, and if Bynum is sent down to the NBDL, people might get more excited about that team than the one in the NBA.

If Bynum makes it and is chosen 8th, he might have to thank soooooooooooooooo much Brigs because somewhere, somehow he did something to make his stock rise.

let's be honest here, to most of you it doesn't make a difference if the Knicks took Andrew Bynum or Bynum Andrew. You still would find a reason to love him/hate him.

It's not about the Knicks anymore with some of you. It's like a game that you are playing within yourself.

Those of you who want Bynum will be the same person 2 years from now talking about we should have took "insert any player name who works hard to become a star"

The Knicks should draft whomever is the best player available. Period.

big...why so gloomy about the state of affairs on these boards?

we all have opinions and like one player over the other. what else are we gonna talk about here? we talk about the knicks players, coaches, GM, and potential draftees - whether we like them or hate them. that's how it goes here and pretty much every team's boards all over the net.

on a side note, have you still been working out? i've been maintaining a nice 176-178 weight range for the past month (started at 205).

i apologize. i went to the casino on Father's Day and got my butt kicked.

i really don't try and make my discussions so gloomy but someone else has mentioned that to me, at least more than one time.

the word potential will be the death of the NBA, imo. Everyone doesn't have potential. So it kinda gets on my nerves after awhile

i wish i could find a study of all the McD's All Americans and see how more than 75% fail then turn around and compare that study to the number of players who go in the lottery that flop.

but forgive me for sounding so gloomy.

i stopped working on my bowflex and joined the Y.

but i have been busy trying to get my project up and running so all i ever do now are pushups, situps, and a few leg exercises when i am watching the Finals (durng commercials).

i just went to weigh myself (while writing this post) but i found out the scale needs batteries.

The dark side has gripped you, but there is some truth to your statement. We will grill Isiah, or Layden, or Larry Brown, or whom evere for the mistakes that don't fall our way. Human Internet nature. We will be labled as a "hater", and still argue the same crap over and over, until they win the big one!

Exactly...I really don't understand Knicks fans...They use to be the best fans in the world, but things have changed a lot around here...a lot of you are fascinating with this Bynum kid, but I am very skeptical about him...I trust Isiah, if this kid is that good, Isiah will not pass on him..

I would trust Isiah if he didn't have to comport his decision making process to satisfy the irrational vision of James Dolan.

Isiah will do the right thing...If he picks Taft/Frye/or whomever, he will have my backing...

You can never satisfy everyone....As long as we have a winning record next season, I will be very happy...Not evryteam get to be champion in this league...Look at Miami and Houston...
