new rule in that trades must now be between 25% of the $$$'s instead of the previous 15%

if you're going to spend it, spend it wisely my brother...

that's an improvement. I'd rather see no restrictions whatsoever on trades--so long as all parties involved believe the deal is good for them--but this will at least free up teams to make trades a little more easily

July 1st is when the old agreement expires. The draft is unaffected, but the new FA/Trade rules should be in effect for this offseason.
