He's a point guard. I would be highly dissapointed if the Knicks selected him, if Bynum, Granger, Webster, Graham and heck, Frye were still available. We have Marbury already. Unless we are gonna trade Marbury for more picks or something I don't see any reason to draft a PG with the 8th pick. I'd call for Isiahs head actually.

With the eight pick, Knicks have to go big!!!! They can get a guard with the 54th pick..

if he's available you trade him, or the pick. there's no way we use our 8th overall pick on a point. we'd end up w/the 8th overall pick next year too. i would'nt just not pick him, i'd have to trade down a spot or two to get something out of it.

the draft doesn't work that way. You take the best player available if its a 6-8 player who can flat out score, defend and do a little of everything than so be it! You're not getting that player at 54. You can steal a better overlooked big man like boozer, Z, Kristic later in the draft. If a bigman is available at 8, chances are he's no good, a bust or a low ceiling role player.

You here in football all the time that teams draft the best player avaiable on the board. Felton may be that guy when the Knicks pick. He may end up being a perennial all-star whereas the Fryes of the world may be okay but not of that caliber. And who knows, maybe Isiah has some other deal up his sleeve (say something with Dallas to deal Crawford and KT) or moving people to Atlanta to get Al Harrington who he always has his eyes on.
