The Lakers are long rumored to move up in hopes of landing prep sensation Gerald Green. Green, who is said to be literally able to jump out of the gym, is pegged long term to be a small forward in the NBA. Other players on the Laker radar include Chris Paul, Raymond Felton, Deron Williams and Danny Granger. Should Los Angeles stick at ten, they may have a crack at Felton or Granger though both may be gone by the Laker pick. If that were the case and LA was not able to move up, expect LA to take Sean May at 10 and possibly Jarrett Jack at 17 (assuming both are on the board at those positions).

A number of rumors have floated that the Lakers are negotiating with Portland for the third pick. Although inquiries were made, the Jazz were able to intercede. Between the Hornets and Bobcats, it would seem that more progress has been made with New Orleans though there's still plenty of time before June 28th's draft. It's not clear if the Blazers would move down four additional slots after executing their deal with the Jazz.

That's stupid. Why get Green at 3? Trade down and get him. Trade up for Bynum, that's the way to go. I heard that Bynum thing too. It was the lead story on CNN this morning. He's projected to go before Bogut and Marvin.

As long as Isiah ends up with an extra pick and a trade to clean up our PF position, I will be content....Kurt to Minnesota for the 14th pick

Remember that hot rumor on this forum that Bynum was going to a lottery team with a "k" in their name? It was the Bucks!

That was a funny one! The Bucks would have to be crazy if they took Bynum first overall, missing on Bogut. Bynum may be hyped to have a better career, but you just can't pass on a guy like Bogut now. Come on!

I think that he meant the Lakers are trying to acquire the #3 pick from Portland to get Bynum...

So let me get this clear, the Lakers have pick 10 and 17? Why isn't us having that 17 pick?

Because Bynum's brother told the Lakers to take pick 17. Bynum's brother runs the whole league.

Bynum's brother also told Isiah not to draft anyone. So Isiah isn't going to the draft next Tuesday.
