I fell asleep too - but early in the game I told my girlfriend Horry has won a couple rings and the guy is clutch. I dont love him but you have to respect the work he has put in to get teams to the championship. I mean his resume is full of moments like this and I think thats awesome. He has become an N"BA legend not by beig a star but by playing a role that take some solid ice in your veins to pull off.

I am rooting for the Pistons like hell, but that dunk by Horry (Late in the game) was flat out impressive. I didn't think he still had those hops. He dunked over both teams. I am surprised nobody has mentioned it, unless if when I started skipping peoples posts and they mentioned it there lol.

All I can say is, go SA!
Horry seemed to be incredible from what it sounds. I'll have to see if any of my friends taped it.

MaTT, I expected more from you! Being a Knicks fan, a fan of the good old defensive Knicks teams, remembering SA in 1999. Im in shock!

GO Pistons!!!!
I remember Horry and Sam I am killing the Knicks in 94. Go no one. As far as I am concern I hate all these guys.
Especially, Nazr and Mr. Antonio "my knee is hurting but now that I am contending it is fine" McDyess.

Oh that dunk was sweetness!

Like you I'm rooting like hell for the Pistons but I really did'nt have any complaints after that game. I was real psyched for a tied-series game 5 in the finals and I got every single thing I was looking for (except the win)!

Here's sometning else no one has mentioned here - Billups' last 2 crucial offensive sets. Very Marbury-like unfortunately. Freeze all 4 of your teammates by dribble-dribble-dribble, to the point where there's no time on the clock, everyone knows you plan on driving it yourself, and you've used up your energy and don't have the lift now to finish your shot.

Rashweed cannot be trusted. 6-11 with a range of weapons and they can't go to him! Can't do Ben at crunch time either. Prince cannot iso, so its rip, Billups, or DICE!

OR Darko.

oh man if he had looked for Prince or Ben cutting or flipped to Sheed for an open short pop they would have hit on 1 of the 2 possessions and won the game.

Two things:

The Dunk: I think I mentioned it early, but I was mentioning how that play hurt his arm and still he made the clutch three. But that dunk.... oh man! That was amazing! He had a great game, looked so young, moving and penetrating like a shooting guard. Great guy to have if you are a contender.

Billups: Considering how great he was from the free throw line, I didn't complain when he was trying to post up his defender or penetrating. He was hot, and thats why San Antonio defended him soo well at the end of the game. Had he gotten the ball and penetrated, he could've drawn the foul and win it.

I say Detroit. Ben makes up for his 2 stinkeroo performances in San Antone eariler in the series.

I predict the Spurs win at home tonight and close out the series - I would love to see a game 7 but I think the first 2 games really told the tale of how much better the Spurs really are. Detroit can contend, but the Spurs are just better.

Lets see what happens...

what this guy has done in the playoffs in his career is unbelievable. You can make a case he will now have altered three championships towards th team he is playing for. If you count the playoffs, Robert Horry is the best role player of all time, even as far to say that his value should be considered for the hall of fame like Dennis Rodman.

I've actually been wondering about him being a hall-of-famer. I think he's had a wonderful career but hasn't had the individual accomplishments necessary to be voted in the hall of fame. But it's a good topic of discussion

Huge shot by Prince and then a great defensive play by Ben! Now the Pistons go up by 5. Rasheed is closing this out very well...

And he made that three after hurting his arm on another great play, the dunk. This guy can make a clutch three with one hand! Unfreakinbelievable!!!!!

haha...man, didn't you get the feeling that after he hurt his arm on that play, that the likelihood of him making some unbelievable shot at the end of the quadrupled? I always felt Horry never really lived up to his talent/ability, but it doesnt matter b/c he's gonna be remembered more for making these kindsa plays anyway...

That is so true. This guys could have ten times individually greater. What he did to all the contenders he played for is unbelivable.
I mean, we all remember what he did to us don't we ?
