Is there any case to be made that says Danny Granger is a top3 player in the draft now?

I mean this is a darn good player. He's got a combination of scottie Pippen and T mac in him, but hes also tough.
He's got everything you want is a an nBA basketball player

length 6-9 225 7-2 wingspan 34 inch vertical dribble with either hand, beautiful inside outside stroke, tough rebounder/shot blocker, fluid post up game

Except for Bogut, what player is more NBA ready[if thats what the knicks are looking for] that Granger?

i second that emotion. the kid has ALL around skills. people questioned his athletisism a few months back but i don't see why. and after seeing his numbers from the combine i'm even more impressed. height/weight/athletisism/defense/shotblocking/outside shot/ballhandling. my favorite wing in the draft.

Granger is the man! A combination of Pierce, Mcgrady, Pippen, Hill, Josh Smith(Shot-Blocking) gotta love it!

I still gotta stick by my man Graham. I like the power game that he has that compliments the games of Crawford and Ariza very well and the strngth to play at the 2, 3, AND 4, automatic from mid range.

Granger is the man, he is like the total package. I would be happy if Knicks picked him at 8 and go big at 30. But I doubt that will happen. Granger is too good to fall into mid lottery.

He is the guy I want. No doubt. Polish, size, athleticism, intelligence, defense.. you can't ask for more.

I've been saying all along that Granger was the guy with the best all around skill in the draft. It does not surprise me that he's moved up so far.

I love Granger but I think everyone knows that by now haha. His offensive game reminds me alot of Paul Pierce because of his size and body-type and the style in which he plays. The thing that sets him apart from everyone else in my mind is his defense, the guy is just a beast of the defense side of the ball. He averaged over 2.0 blocks and 2.0 steals per game all while pulling down 9 rebounds and averaging 19 points a game this year, he is the epitamy of the Total Package.

If Isiah doesn't select a Center with the 8th pick, I for one will be standing infront of MSG shouting for his resignation....

Yeah, we know. Every time you tell us, it just demonstrates your ignorance as a basketball fan. This 6'10'' and over crap is absurd. Aside from Bogut, there are no impact centers in this draft. Who knows how Bynum will develop and if he amounts to anything it will take 3 to 4 years anyway. I wouldn't be upset with Frye but he is a low ceiling player that may not be able to shed the soft label.

Granger and Joey Graham are looking like potential all stars. These guys play at BOTH ends of the floor and will add some toughness and perimeter defense that this team lacks. Why take a guy just because he is tall when we'd be passing up potential allstars. Look at guys like Paul Pierce and Richard Jefferson -- they slipped into the mid lottery but turned out to be incredible two way players. That's how Granger and Graham will turn out in my opinion. Granger has a higher ceiling but also has injury questions while Grahams floor is probably Bruce Bowen.

With our later picks, it would be absurd to pick a center unless Bynum slips to 30. There are so many guards in this draft who will make an impact so why pick Luke Schencsher just because the guy is over 7 feet. He's a joke and is as soft as they come. Lets go with guys like Luther Head, Badsen, Garcia, Nate Robinson, Daniel Ewing, Julius Hodge, who will make an impact off the bench for us. Look at all the second rounders who have made it in this league -- they're all guards.

So no matter who Isiah picks, how about you wait to call for his resignation. Granger could turn out to be rookie of the year and an all star year in, year out. Frye could turn out to reach his potential and average 14 ppg, 8 rpg, 2bpg. Let's wait to evaluate the draft until we see the results.

And please, for the sake of all of us, get it through your head that just because a guy is over 6'10'', it doesn't mean he will even make an NBA roster, let alone fill our center vacancy.

Maybe we can even find the next Desanga Diop too Bonn! I can't wait for that 6'10 and over player in this draft that is sooooo good besides Bogut! oh wait, there isn't one.

Unless Green slips Right now I'm leaning towards drafting Granger or if he's gone then Graham or Wright and I'll be hoping Bynum, McCants, Taft or Hodge slip to 30 then I'll go nuts!

If we drafted Granger, we'd have to play Ariza at sg. It might work.

not immediately, though. dump TT, bench or dump penny, then you have 48 minutes to split between a rookie and a sophomore at the 3, i don't see that as a problem. if both turn into studs, then we can work on moving them to other positions or have some real trade assets to balance the roster.
