8th - Danny Granger
19th - Andrew Bynum ( Give this kid a chance )
30th - Rony Turiaf ( reminds me of Oakley, we need someone like him on the knick's ) But , i believe Isiah Thomas will deal this pick.
54th - I also believe Isiah will deal this pick.

8- Frye
30- Nate Robsinson
54- No friggin' clue

I DON'T think he'll end up getting another pick either nor will he trade up or down.

8 - Frye
30 - Walsh
54 - Ewing

(this isn't who I want, other than Frye, it's where I think Zeke will go)

no way Hodge(s) lasts until the 30th pick. He's destroying McCants and many others in workouts, he'll be a mid first rounder.

that's my dream draft. although I would select Graham before Granger cause the Knicks could use Ariza at the 3 and Graham at the 2.

they could do the same with Granger or just play Ariza at SG. it doesn't matter. Graham has more of a SF body. Either way I'll be happy!

8th Roko-Leni Ukic

for real?
not really, but I do think (for no logical reason) that Isiah is going to think out of the box. This guy is a 6'6 heady tough player the plays PG. Its certainly a good fit for our current personel. The closest thing to him in CBB would be Hodge (pharzone... I was teasing before. I dont remember who but someone got chapped about someone else calling him Hodges).

I know Chad Ford loves him (calls him the next Manu) and that *is* the kiss of death, but he fills a need, he's an Isiah type player, and we also know Isiah made numerous trips overseas, but was pretty quiet about who he was scouting.

Its a reach, I know... and if you gave me a 1000 bucks to lose if I didnt pick who the Knicks are taking I would say Frye also.

As for David Lee he's a good player but I think his great camp and impressive athleticism gets him in. He's a good passer, very active, good hands and runs the floor very well. All things that point to a great bench player right away for this squad.

I'm a little surprised no one has mentioned Fran Vázquez at #8. Could be a possiblity if Utah thinks Ray Felton is good enough.

I think Matt Walsh will end up going as high as the Pacers and it would take a big fall to get to 30. Hes the guy who has jumped up the most of everyone in this draft. he wasnt even a projected 2 and now he sits on the edge of the lottery. Hes a real good skill player, showed it from minute 1 at Flda.

Luther Head is a good player but I think he's more of a PG. I still think the plan for the Knicks is to get NBA ready players, but the size of the SGs and especially the athletsicm of Branden Rush, to me, would be very hard to pass on at 30. he seems like an Isiah type player 6-6 7 foot wingspan superior athletiscm. Head is also a great athlete but hes small--somehwere 6-2ish maybe 6-3.

Id much rather have Frye than Vazquez. Frye on his best days is a great player. Maybe he has a new found attitude and work ethic, and will be willing to bring it everyday. He still isnt a true 5, but he is a skilled FC player who can provide us some length. I still maintain that I believe 8 is 7-10 spots to high, but if he can play anything close to what he did during the last 10 games of the year, everyone will be more than happy.

Judging by Isiah Thomas's comments in the past:

Pick 8: Deron Williams (He falls, Isiah picks him up, "He's the most talented player available. I like the way he handles the ball, he reminds me of myself the way he sees the court...")

Pick 30: Turiaf (Isiah says, "I like his rugged style of play, reminds me of a young Rick Mahorn before he got fat.")

Pick 54: Salim Stoudemire (Isiah says, "He's the most talented player available. I like the way he shoots the ball, he's fearless, he reminds me of myself...")

When asked about not getting a big guard, Isiah answers, "I think we got some pieces that will make us a better team. These players know how to play the game the right way."

8-Graham
30-Turiaf or Taft (you asked who we think we would pick bot who I wanted)
54-Monta Ellis or Stevie Graham or Orien Green

I think we are going hard after Hunter as our center.
