Hrm... I'd definitely do the trade in a heartbeat.
Boozer/#6 pick for TT/#8 pick? I'd do it on the basis of moving up 2 spots in this draft!
Boozer's awesome. He plays big (and he looks taller than KT/Sweetney, and the entire Knicks PF corps)... and he's shown real life NBA production... he was averaging 20/10 for a good portion of the season until injuries slowed him (and the team) down. He'll probably be a much better player than Sweetney ever will be in the NBA.
What's the only downside of this proposed trade? We get farther over the cap? :) Big deal.

This would be a great trade for the Knicks. The Knicks move up 2 spots in the draft AND get a huge upgrade in Power Forward? Sign me up ASAP. I don't want to hear anything about how the stats 48mpg where they are equal because Sweetney CAN NOT play more then 25 minutes a game right now consistently. Sweetney feasts on teams with poor front lines and Boozer plays well night-in and night-out against whatever competition. If this rumor is real then IT better sign off.

A trade worth making, though we'd really have to dump some forwards ASAP. Would the Cavs do Penny/KT/Sweetney for Zydurunas/Snow/Newble?
That might solve the logjam at forward, add a center and help give us a backup PG who can play some D. Draft Martell Webster at 8 and Randolph Morris at 30. Taking on a lot of money again, but we'd be looking at...
I've gotta put 1 a vote for the up and comers nyk4ever and other great ones like Phareozone(spell check) and Tomsverve(Spell check?) and our international scout Darkknicks and damn I forgot his name, I think he's from France? someone help me!
Wrong thread or is this related to Boozer somehow?

I'd do this if Green slipped to #6. Then Utah could draft him for us and we could draft Vazquez for Utah. Otherwise, I don't think the difference between 6 and 8 is very meaningful for us, and Boozer's game and physique is already so similar to players we already have, and he has so many years of big contract #s, that I probably would not do it. But I doubt Green is going to slip to 6, and I doubt this is really on Isiah's radar.
