Microfracture usually is a last resort. I don't think Steph's Knee is that bad.
That might have been worth considering when Briggs just accepted without any reason to this bizarre idea.

someone tell me this isnt true because the source of this information is highly credible and has been a Knicks season holdeer[and a highly highly connected 1] who told me this about a half hour ago. Anyone else hear this?
I guess the answer to your question is no... this is good non-news.

Why is it that many of BRIGGS' rumors and "dead-sure" information is always wrong?

... and he also posts a lot of other very good information. Some miss, some hit.

This was a question and it got answered. Now BRIGGs has better insight into whomever gave him the info.

Sorry; I just get a kick out of Briggs' imagination. A safe rule to go by is probably that anything without a link that's negative news about the Knicks coming from Briggs is probably made up (or very sketchy). I'll go a little easier on him in the future, though.

If he had MF surgery on his knee though, the Knicks better not get stupid like they did with Houston, and give him 35 minutes a game starting the season, or else it's only going to get worse and worse. Jason Kidd clearly lost a couple of steps, but he's back to being an all star, b/c the Nets took it very slow and cautiously with him, and still are. They were very smart and they didn't even care about losing. It was the complete opposite with Houston's case. Now look at him. Time for the Knicks to treat this a different way, if ge did indeed have microfracture knee surgery.
If this idea of Briggs actually happened, I'd assume Houston (and maybe Penny) will talk to Marbury to try to get him to learn from his mistakes.

goodluck with that. you have to take into account that this franchise does everything backwards

Im glad to hear its not true. Im not going to be surprised to find out he had some kind of procedure on his knee this summer. By the way, what kind of information that I have given isnt true? This wasnt information, this was a question to something i heard. Because I didnt believe the hype that Channing frye was 7-0 260? hey a monkey could see that! That Andrew Bynum would dwarf him?

It's because most of what Briggs posts are hits that his misses get get so much attention.
