bob ley was talking about the age limit negotiations between stern and the union. They showed some footage of Bynum from the McD's game when he was a massive 7-1 325 or so.

Now he's down to 280. The guy is huge! definitely close to 7-1. Can't wait til Isiah finally works him out. I get the sense Isiah doesn't know much about him since he just entered the draft a month ago. either that or Isiah is doing a great job of keeping quite and making other teams think he would actually take Frye so high at 8.

You know after all of the hype of the last two weeks i'm starting to think Bynum will be available to us at #8. I agree with Briggs that if this kid is drafted he will make a solid contribution this year. If all of the Frye talk is really a smoke screen then that's savy stuff. I we luck and get GS to take a swap of our #8 for their #9 and a later pick and still get Bynum then what can anyone say. Bymum at eight. Go get'em Isiah.

He may very well be available at 8 but I can't see Isiah taking him right now, it'd just be... too good to be true I guess

Regardless of his upside, general consensus by draft folk is that he's not projected to go in the lottery. Late 1st round at best. I reckon he's just too raw for anyone to feel comfortable drafting high.

Bynum could take long to develop. I still wouldn't mind taking him at 8 but there are so many really good players and if these reports are right we should be able to get Bynum with a pick in the 9-19 or so range. He'll definitely be gone by 30.

Some people here are going to be in love with kurt thomas oops I mean Channing Frye until Isiah finally checks out Bynum's workout if he hasn't already. I hope Bynum impresses Isiah and he takes him at 8. There will still be some really good wing players around 30 since this draft is so deep. Then we can call it a day!

It should be Bynum at 8 because he will be BETTER than ANY player we pick at 8. Hold me to this, Andrew Bynum will be a better player than ANYONE else we pick at 8. If this kid does go to school for one year, he will be pick 1 next year OVEr Rudy Gay.

Latest Bynum news:
"The scout said Bynum is being considered by teams with two picks because he is probably not ready to contribute immediately in the NBA, but has potential. Most expect him to be taken late in the first round.

There are five teams with multiple first-round picks: Charlotte (Nos. 5 and 13), Utah (6 and 27), Toronto (7 and 16), the Knicks (8 and 30) and Denver (20 and 22)."

I'd have to say that Utah and the Knicks would be his most likely destinations with their late 1st round picks. Denver is currently loaded in big men--- they're more likely to draft two shooters.

good stuff but it would be a miracle if he dropped to 30. We need to trade up!

It's funny... I currently tend to believe he'll be a 2nd rounder if he stays in the draft... but I wouldn't mind if the Knicks used their 2nd first rounder on him.
