This info may have already been posted on Frye from Brendan McGovern but since he's been such a hot topic of late so here it is:
After four years of watching Channing Frye, we still see a guy who could be doing just a little bit more.
His highs -- 24 points, 12 rebounds and six blocks vs. Illinois, for instance -- are so impressive that you wonder why the guy can't seem to bring it every night. Perhaps competing in the NBA will bring out that competitive spark in Frye. He's got the frame, the athletic ability to play full-court basketball and some strong sensibilities in the post. There's really not much more work needed in Frye's game, just his motivations. At worst, he'll be a solid backup at the 4/5; at best, he's an energetic presence at both ends and a fringe All-Star. Cut it down the middle and you're looking at another Lorenzen Wright.
