Thats the thing, he IS the much better player, there is no question about that. Big Z is the most skilled Center in the league, period. however Big Z is 30 and Jamaal is 26. Big Z blocks more shots, but Jamaal is a better defender and is still becoming a better player. Magloire is also much more atheletic, but he'd have to be, big Z is 7-3 and Jamal is 6-10 with long arms. I don't know, I like Z better, because he is better, I just am not sure which would be better long term.

As always its about the money. Magloire is getting what 8 or 9 mil for the next 1 or 2 years? I'd rather have Z for the next 3 seasons at that rate or slightly above that rate, b/c I think Z can outplay him for that time period.

You and i both know that neither of those guys is signing a 3 year contract. It simply is not going to happen. So for the next 5 years how would you assess that?

And I guess it also depends on what we would have to give up to get either. Big Z would be a s & t, maybe involving Drew gooden, for KT and cap space (penny, T).

Magloire, I don't know what Charlotte would want for a pick but probably our #8 which would be steep imo.
