New York trades:
PG Jason Williams
PF Marcus Camby

New York receives:
SF Lamar Odom
2002 1st round pick (from ATL)
2002 1st round pick (LAC)

I think that is a given because almost everyone agrees to this being realistic ..

This trade, on the other hand, would work given the extreme circumstances .. It's a stretch but, hey, anything can happen ..

New York trades:
2002 1st round pick (ATL or LAC)
PG Howard Eisley
SF Shandon Anderson
PF Othella Harrington

New York receives:
C Greg Ostertag
C John Amaechi
SG John Starks (sign and trade)

Why UTA does it? They take on horrible contracts, that's a fact but these players flourished under Sloan and next year they would be under the cap enabling them to take on these player's contracts .. The kicker here is a 1st rounder which gives UTA two picks in the 1st round .. They could pick either Curtis Borchardt or Chris Marcus with the pick from the trade .. They also get rid of Ostertag and Amaechi ..

New York Knicks

C Jerome James - Greg Ostertag
PF Kurt Thomas - Amare Stoudemire (LAC pick)
SF Latrell Sprewell - Lamar Odom
SG Allan Houston - John Starks
PG Mark Jackson - Charlie Ward

In-game situation line-up ..

C Jerome James
PF Kurt Thomas
SF Latrell Sprewell
SG Allan Houston
PG Lamar Odom (Point Forward)

To everyone that might say that UTAH would never do that deal ..

Utah's course of action would then be ..

- Re-sign Jarron Collins
- Pick Curtis Borchardt with LAC pick courtesy of NYK

C Jarron Collins - Curtis Borchardt
PF Karl Malone - Othella Harrington
SF Andrei Kirilenko - Donyell Marshall
SG Shandon Anderson - Deshawn Stevenson
PG John Stockton - Howard Eisley

In the first trade, the Knicks should add a secound round pick or something cuz I feel the the trade is a bit in our favour.

I like the second trade in that we get rid of our 2 most disgusting contracts (excluding Houston's of course). I think Utah would be keen to do this, they're not likely to attract good players through free-agency.
