I think my next step would be to offer to move down to the Nets 15 if they threw in the Clipper 06 pick and take Julius Hodge at 15

and since I had my guard, I would take Eric Williams at 30

i should add in , if we do take frye, my pick at 30 would be Branden Rush. We need a 2G and I think he could be the steal of the draft.

I really like Morris...I think he'll be a better player than Frye.

small tid bit on Morris:

" Morris is an interesting case. He did show very nice touch from 10 feet in, and could end up finding a sucker in the late first round. He was not very accurate from anything beyond 12 feet, missing most of his shots from 18 feet in one drill. His biggest weakness is his inability and unwillingness to run or work hard. The workout had a few short full court 2 on 0 breaks where Morris showed his speed (or lack there of) in the open floor. Although I personally think he's not worthy of being a first rounder, and have heard teams have soured on him over the past month, he did put forth a good effort in this workout, so that's a positive sign for him. But he is still far from a lock for the first round. It may sound crazy, but Morris is a smart kid who actually might be making a good decision to enter the draft before his lack of work ethic and upside gets exposed. The workout showed that he's a decent shooter, with a good body, (though small at center) but his lack of rebounds in college is a big red flag. Sources indicate a workout recently at Memphis showed his lack of foot speed as Andray Blatche repeatedly went around him for dunks. The consensus there was he should return to college and was not a first round pick now, and possibly ever if he didn't re-evaluate his work ethic."

Not very positive.

Remember Morris is a 19 year old prospect with a very good NBA body. He played really well in the NCAA tourney. He had a double-double against Cincinatti and had 20 pts in the Elite 8 vs. Michigan St. He also played against Dwight Howard in high school and pretty much played him to a standstill. Also played with Dwight and Josh Smith on the same AAU team.

I think there is a lot of room to grow with him. He already has the makings of a back to basket game and he does a decent job of shotblocking. I'd be more convinced by him if he had better workouts, but he can play...

interesting info Martin and VDesai, thanks!

its so hard to project with a 19yr old like that. I think he'd be a solid pick if guys like McCants, Rush, Fernandez, Splitter, Blatche, Gelabale, Petro, Martynas are gone

thats impressive. A frontline of Bynum and Williams would do major damage. Both guys are massive but athletic at the same time. Williams would problably be the ancor of our defense. But I still wouldn't pass up on a good SG like if one if available at 30 like a McCants, Fernandez, Miles or Rush

I wouldn't be mad at getting Greene, Wright, or Webster at 8. I think all three of those guys will have good careers and at least two have the potential to be all-stars. If we are looking at Graham than I want to trade down for him because I think we can get him later. All this depends on what Isiah sees in the Wright and Bynum workouts. I would also like to see what the Knicks really think of Andriuskevicus, I keep reading from scouts that this guy has the biggest upside besides Marvin Williams of all the big men out there. Whatever that means.
