Chicago State sophomore Deji Akindele cost himself some money Wednesday. He looks great at 7-1 and chiseled 240 pounds, and he shot well in drills, but during the scrimmage he was terrible. Awful. Instead of using his body and athletic ability to dunk on people, he tried a variety of weak finishing moves that were blocked or spun errantly off the glass.

good read thanks. What do you think about Will Bynum at pick 30. He's no string bean thats for sure.

I like Bynum, but more at 54. If we go guard at 30, I'd want it to be Ewing, Nate Rob or even Gilchrist.

I think Ewing will slip to 54. I'd love to get him there.

I still say Hodge will be available at 30, and unless someone insane like Taft, Warrick or Blatche slips to 30, I'd like to nab Hodge at 30.

edit: I think Jawad Williams is someone to consider at either 30 or 54, more likely 30. Also Luke Schenscher is someone to think about at 54, speaking of GA Tech. Both guys have worked out for the Knicks.

I second that.

But Akindele is 7-1 and looks great and he will be picked by someone, we may be forced to grab him at 30, they said he was off the charts athletically. He played well in workouts and struggled in the scrimmages-cool, he doesn't know exactly how to use all of his skills yet, thats what Mark Aguirre is here for.

Travis Diener should be the pick in the 2nd round.

Schenscher probably won't get drafted. Drafting Schenscher would be like drafting Eric Chenowith. I really doubt Hodge will be there at 30. He has seemingly moved up to the early 20's. Kennedy Winston is someone who might slip to 30.

I would like to take a Euro in the 2nd round. Like Gelabale (who I only saw on clips) or a guy like Gigli who the Suns are very interested in.
