over the past 5-6 years which player do you wish we would have hung on to????? Oakely, Mase, Pat, Christie, Childs, Mills, McCarty, Wallace, Starks, Harvey, Strickland, Rice, or someone else???? Personally I wish that we would have hung on to mase. He would still provide a nasty get outa my house attitude. He can play center in the east, can post up, and can bring the ball down the court.

Ewing was THE Knick. You said Knicks to someone in the 90s, the Big Fella popped into your head. I hate seeing him in the Magic uni's now, he just looks out of place. And it would've done wonders for our cap problems. So Ewing.

Most of those trade got us back some really good players in return the only one zI can see regretting was John Wallace

What really good players did we get back? Maybe Mark Jackson, but he isn't real good. John Wallace, come on, he peaked at Syracuse.

I agree with BigSmooth, Pat should not have been traded and he should have retired a Knick. We most likely wouldn't be in as big a mess as we are in if it weren't for that trade.

Can I say Ron Artest? I know we never had him, but we could have. He is the embodyment of a Knick...hard working, tenacity on defense, opertune offensively. The kid has Heart. He sort of reminds me of Oakly in a small forwards body.

Another player everyone forgot is Eddie Robinson. Before he was in the league a few years back he had a try-out with the Knicks, but got beaten out by David Wingate. Then he got signed by Charlotte and is now a very serviceable SF with them and Chicago when he was healthy.
