Splitter started this game and has played outstanding throughout the series. It seems he might actually be farther advanced than Vazquez, who was considered to be the Euro most likely to contribute year 1. Splitter and Vazques both started, Splitter got: 14 points (4/7 FG; 6/10 FT), 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, 4 blocks, and 1 turnover in 35 minutes. Vazquez got: 9 points (4/7 FG; 1/3 FT), 4 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 turnover in almost 17 minutes.

Remember, this was a playoff game so this was some of the highest level of competition in Europe. Hopefully someone gets working on Splitter's buyout.

to think some people actually prefered Vazquez/Petro over Splitty!

the problem with these guys--not nba C, both weigh around 220, in fact splitter said in his last interview he weighed 222. I like Splitter, but I realize that 8 is to high for him or Vazquez. Im thinking more like 13-18 for Splitter 18-26 for Vazquez

Not so fast there. Vazquez was in foul trouble and played only 17 minutes, and in the first 2 games outplayed Splitter statistically.

exactly. if we can only buy another pick. If you look at my mock drafts I didn't include Splitter in any because I think there are players with higher ceilings and more nba ready then these guys. But man if we miss out on Bynum I would be thrilled with Wright/Webster/Graham & Blatche/Splitter/Warrick/Taft/Frye
