The girls are struggling....mainly because the Liberty is playing favorites with Crystal Robinson and Elena Baranova.

Simply put these girls are past their primes. Crystal is a 3pt specialist and the Liberty don't have the inside presence to have her chucking up so many threes. She is starting to miss alot more than she makes. Baranova always plays hard but her skills are slowly disappearing. Both ladies should be placed on the bench to make way for youth.

Detrina White and Shameka Christon should be starting. I feel Detrina is a Charles Oakley in the waiting and "Meka" is ready to become a that all around threat they have always needed from the 3 spot. Meka especially since she is playing 10 minutes less than Crystal yet her stats are better.

Even some other vets like Frett need more time.

WTF is up with the Liberty?

I think I'm missing the problem with Liberty basketball. I may not watch them nearly as much as the Knicks/Yankees/Giants...but I'll watch a game everynow and then.

...any program that has Becky Hammon running around for two hours is okay in my book.

I haven't followed them much this season. I have been too frustrated with the Yankees to follow any other team. If you tell me they are struggling, then I should ask: whats going on with sports in New York? Knicks suck, Yanks suck, Mets kind of, Giants too... Whats up this days? I can't get a break anywhere...

How's their record? I only know they lost to Detroit, and that was some games ago...

They won today....they are 2-4....

They still can get some momentum going and be back on top.

Shameka Christon is their best player and she is coming off the bench. I would love to see her start and become more of a option on offense. She started a 12-0 run to start the 2nd half today scoring 9pts in that run. She got the goods.

Hey Eny, just got back from the Garden. The Liberty has a squad. They came back from way down to win it. Vickie Johnson is a true floor general. Christon can flat out shoot it however she'd be unstoppable if she had a better handle (very weak imo). Please don't sell Crystal Robinson short. She's a savy veteran just like Vickie Johnson.

My first visit to the Garden and I had all three of my little girls and their Grandfather in tow. Other than the older one (the 8 year old) saying Go Blue (Liberty was wearing white so I had to shush her real quick) Other than that they kept on hollering D-E-F-E-N-S-E...so I guess they were paying attention to the game.

Told my old man, "we'll be here next season....bank on it".

the liberty are just like the knicks in the sense that they have no good bigs, but have a bunch of well-known, aging perimeter players with the exception of hammon, who is reaching her prime.

That's not true. Christon is a player. You can't sell her short at all and she's not "an aging veteran"

My girls are 4, 6 and 8 and i'm just starting to introduce them to the game. I had them in a dance program last year that my wife wanted them in. It went okay but I really want them in a Bball summer camp because it will give them an edge to compete. Can't whine on the court...you gotta fight back (Rasheed is the exception to that rule )
